It's the great Sony revival.

The OL played incredibly, even without Andrews.

My game ball goes to Burkhead though. Some terrific runs and screens.

Now a big game ahead in KS!

Sony looked like a completely different guy. That was like one of his stat likes from college. The blitz pickup was awesome, as well.

Burkhead, the line, JC Jackson, Wise.

Onwenu, rookie 6th round draft pick, first career start because of Andrews injury, and was flattening guys and opening up holes all day

A bad PI penalty on Gilmore that helped lead to a terrible TD at the end of the first half, and a cheap garbage time TD, and pretty much the Pats' D didn't allow anything else.

The OL, after a rough first two series, utterly dominated this game, and the backs - Rex, Sony, and JJ - were all absolutely fantastic.

I'm highly pumped about this team. Could easily be 3-0.

Onwenu and the line as a whole. I think the flim review will be illustrative, but man did it look like there were some big holes being ripped open on the left side. Looking forward to next week.

Onwenu has played 6th OL, RT, and now LG and he’s looked very good in 3 games. I think he has the edge for Patriots rookie of the year over Dugger right now. Who would have thought?

I love Cam.
That big rush for a first down on the drive after the Raiders made it a 10 point game again, was amazing and perfect and made me smile so wide.

It is just another element we have never had from the QB. If he keeps improving some of his decision making, this offense is going to be potent and clock-killing at the same time

JJ Taylor needs a mention. His carries started to loosen things up.

Michel was great. Now let's trade him while he's got some value and ride Harris et al the rest of the way

Even though Sony had the number (from the two massive runs), I was most impressed with Burkhead.

He gets the Game Ball.

Kudos to the defensive scheme for completely eliminating Waller, and credit to Williams and Duggar for the execution of it.

Feel like the coaching staff adjusted nicely today after a sluggish start, especially at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Shout out to Zuber for a solid run and block on one of Rex’s TD

I’ll go with Thuney. Onwenu had a great game too, and one that makes you rethink the NFL draft a little. Top rated recruit, three year starter at Michigan, slides a little with weight/mobility concerns and now it looks like, oh wait he’s obviously good, he can be an NFL starter and a real force in the run game.

Kudos to the defensive scheme for completely eliminating Waller,
That trap that the Pats set for the near interception in the end zone by McCourty was some of the more impressive Belichick magic I have seen. My brother and I both were calling "touchdown Waller" at the snap when we saw him singled up with no safety help. Having McCourty lie in wait in the traffic in the middle of the field while the corner played outside leverage was really neat, though frustrating from my perspective.

McDaniel's play calling patience and willingness to stick with what was working, despite none of it really being pretty or fancy, was also impressive. But that is why the Pats are the Pats.

Sony also had 2 catches on 2 targets and there was a blitz pickup too that would've gotten to Cam had he not stuck his nose in.

Game ball to Zuber for his debut and that 13-yard run on his first touch, and to James White for being where he needs to be today and for however long he and his family need.

Those were three key plays, not so much for their impact on today, but for what they might portend for the future. We’ve talked a lot about how Michel’s presence on the field has been such a tell for a running play; these three plays might open up the playbook when he’s on the field.

This is a JJ Taylor stan account.

In other news Onwenu, Burkhead, Winovich, Edelman and the defense as a whole played well.

I know DOTB and others have cited their hellish strength of schedule but I wouldn't want to face this Pats team right now.

1. The offensive line.
2. The running backs. Sony, Burkhead, and Taylor each did some great stuff.
3. Shilique Calhoun, who forced 2 fumbles including the one that became the Wise TD.

Kind of a down game from Newton, aside from the big 20-yard run on third alnd long.

The BBtL crew really withholds its love from our innovative OC.

Here’s to you, Josh. How to rebuild the playbook, and make the good adjustments today.

Sony got a lot of crap in the 2020 Roster thread; none of it unjustified, tbh. Seems like it worked.

So, who's the target this week?

BB.
What other coach would use all 3 2nd half timeouts on defense in the 3rd quarter?

This was an all time move. But each seemed to pay off big time. I’ve never seen something like that before. BB is on another level.

As others have noted, Thuney, Sony and Wino for me.

BB mentioned it post-game but hat tip to the coaching staff who really did the prep this week as BB attended to his mother's funeral arrangements.
