Really not much to criticize in any way today. Defense played really well (Darnold was red hot coming into this game). Offense moved the ball. Skill players played well. Brady was sharp. Kicking game was solid. Hard to find fault anywhere. And the only injury was DMac, who hopefully will be perfectly fine in two weeks.

About as good an ending to the season as you could ask for.

He’s had a lousy year, and I know it’s just the Jets, but Malcom Brown made several nice plays today, including a 4th down stuff. Not a “three up” level performance, but he deserves a bone.

Brady. Mostly sharp. Fiery. And got a LOT of guys involved. More of this, please.

Dorsett and Hogan for getting into the flow and catching the ball.

Patriots Nation for predictably pointing to that negated gain by Gronk to make ourselves feel better about him and the O moving forward.

Flowers and Van Noy for athleticism and playmaking. Wise, too, showed a little spark.

Hard to give too much credit for beating a bad, and depleted, team like the jets, but in games like this you're supposed to trounce them. And trounce them we did.

After watching him go invisible against the Giants 4th stringers in August, I can’t say I ever expected Derek Rivers to pull a sack in a game that actually mattered.

I don’t care who it was, Brady stayed in the pocket and scanned the entire field for reads, even in the face of pressure. That’s been his bugaboo this season for decent chunks of the year (I’d guess injuries), and it was great to see him looking confident back there. If he does that moving forward, the Pats have a solid chance. My fear was we wouldn’t see that again this season, or maybe ever.

The OL without a doubt. Brady was virtually untouched the entire game. He was sacked once in the fourth quarter and rarely had to move off his spot. When Brady is comfortable in the pocket and receivers can get separation against a practice squad secondary we will win. Unfortunately that won’t happen a lot moving on in the playoffs.

I disagree with the no pressure thing. Brady faced a decent amount, but hung in and shifted in the pocket to create extra time, something he has not done much of the past 6 weeks or so. He was also making reads lightning fast and getting the ball out quicker.

I wonder if Allens "resurgence" (or at least using him once again) is due to Gronk being f-ed up most of the season. Lets Gronk Rest and puts Dwayne in a position he can excel at (blocking).

They can do alot of weird things this year.
22 (Gronk receiving well below career norms but above journey man, Allen Blocking, Michel and Devlin Edelman)
21 (Gronk, Michel/White Devlin, Edelman, Hogan/Dorsett)
11 (this is what they have used for a few years Gronk as Queen of the board, but not capable of that this year, Edelman, Dorsett, Hogan, Michel/White. Due to Gronks Decline they havent been as effective at this)
12 (Gronk as the receiver and Allen as the blocker, Michel, Edelman and H/D. Alot more of this this year).
No 10 or 01 (not enough WRs)
They start off in an 02 often But White then motions to the backfield as a Blocker/relief valve receiver back into a 12 set.
