I'll keep it at one this week. Gronk. From the start of the game to the final whistle, he played an amazing football game. Making great catches, absorbing huge hits, and coming up big when Brady needed him most. This was a Gronk game.

Replay official.

I never thought they'd overturn that in Pittsburgh. No idea why Nantz and Romo didn't see that.

Kind of fitting the pick was on third down.

Who made the tackle to keep the clock running on second down?

As soon as they showed a replay where you could see the ball clearly moving I turned to my wife and said that the most Patriots thing that could happen right now if the TD gets overturned and then an INT. This is just the way things work.

No one can argue that replay decision with a straight face. The ball moved when it hit the ground. It may be a shitty rule but that’s the rule as written. Indisputable.

Why the FUCK did Roethlisberger throw a SLANT on that fake spike?

Throw a fucking low-risk fade there, you've got the FG in the bag.
They got too cute. You simply can't try to be cute with NE. They were all over it.

Gronk

no one in particular but PIT panicked once the call was overturned. meanwhile we were able to tackle a guy in bounds then Rowe finally covered Bryant on the last play. the defense was poor but clutch when given second life. / coaching staff

Gronk
Dion Lewis for taking second-and-long and turning it into third-and-short multiple times.

Is Duron Harmon the career leader in interceptions in the final minute of the 4th quarter?

Guys, even Nantz knew the rule once they realized what the officials were looking at.

It's confusing because it used to be a catch. Got to 1:40 of the highlights of the AFCCG to watch the play that won the game for Pittsburgh. Today that would be overturned in a nanosecond.

He did though. Maybe you could have ruled a fumble.
No, all the way to the completion of rolling on the ground, not to the moment he touches the ground.

If the ball came loose and never touched the ground and he regained control it would have been a catch, but he lost control with the ball on the ground. Never a catch

No. Dude, please. He did NOT survive the ground. The DB touching him would not have negated him not completing the catch.

Balls are ruled incomplete when WR falls OOB even though by your take here play is dead once he's out of bounds.

Me, for never losing faith.

Seriously, Belichick. His teams may not always execute better in the last two minutes. And sometimes the other teams are better. But you just don't see panic.

The end game is chaotic. They stop having commercials. Time out are only 30 seconds. Everything goes very fast. They may not always win, but you just never ever feel in the endgame that the game is too fast for his teams.

Zebras.

The zebras called this game right, fair, and no one from either side should complain about how they did.

The Schuster-Smith catch and run was devastating in terms of win expectancy and the emotional balance of the game.

Gotta give them credit for how they handled the wake of the play.
