Also, whatever happens in this game, Switzerland deserves so much credit for their showing this tournament.

It’s embarrassing the Spanish can’t win this up 1 without Swiss having their 2 most resumeed attackers

feel like Spain could easily double their volume of crosses and hope for a lucky bounce/accidental handball/whatever without much additional risk of being countered

I feel like they are consistently pretty good in tournaments. They have a lot of players that play at good clubs, but not many who play at real UCL powers, which I think masks the fact that they have a lot of talent.

admire Switzerland's derring-do but this is the time to staple themselves to the box/roll around on the ground/kick the ball OB/etc

Momentum, for as much as that's worth, has to swing to SUI now--both for making it to PKs and winning on them the other day.

And, did I hear that right--Spain has not converted any of their last 5 PKs? That seems nuts.

First guy missing puts so much pressure on the subsequent takers.

I just don't understand. Low to corner with pace and keeper most likely has no chance.

Switzerland missing a lot of their experienced players probably hurt them in the PKs.

When you're a Switzerland and you get through to pens against a Spain, you better win that shit.

Especially if you've been playing with ten.

Gutted for the Swiss. But a performance they can tell their grandkids about.
