The Camel City
I wonder if they switched from the UK feed to the world feed. I thought it was weird we were getting BT Sport promos from the first half announcers.

Not many central defenders can catch Son from behind like that. Impressive from VVD.

Not sure I like this sub either. Spurs have been attacking pretty well the last 10 minutes. Not sure they need to make further changes.

where the darn libs live
(note: I am not what you would call a footie fan, though I tune in for big matches, the World Cup, the Olympics, etc)

Is this match the soccer equivalent of last year's Super Bowl: very defensive game, low scoring, a great game and very well played but fans who aren't really into the minutia will deride it as boring? Or is it more like a 2013 Bengals/Browns game?

How does Danny Rose always get the contact he’s seeking? It’s surreal. He starts his dive long before any contact but always is “technically” fouled.

Amazing how many VVD mishits lead to critical Liverpool goals.

I don’t think Klopp had a plan for “Score in 2’.”
Pool have adopted extremely defensive tactics and nicked a second goal off a rebound from a deflected shot following a set piece. It's worked very well. If that's not Mourinho-esque, I don't know what is.

Spurs racking up the SOG count but it’s not going to make much of a difference.
