I don’t feel bad for Sale and his lack of run support when he insists on having Leon in the lineup every start.
I believe he knows what to do and what is better for him and the team.
Every pitcher has bad games; important thing is that he is not injured, I'm working (LOL) and following the game via gamecast.

Terrible start by Sale, all things considered. Terrible opponent, start of a home stand, he's not gonna go longer than five innings no matte what.

If Jays don’t score more runs, Sox will have a good opportunity with the top of the order; of course if Betts and Beni hit as they should.

Red Sox are simply allergic to winning at Fenway this season. Finished 33 games over .500 at home last season....ahh, sweet memories

The team is currently 5-10 in Sale's 15 previous starts, soon to be 5-11. I get that a lot of this falls on the lack of offense (1 run tonight against a total scrub), but Sale has been bad too many times. And whatever the combination....going 5-11 with your ace is really, really bad. If that were simply reversed, the Sox would be just a couple games out of first right now.
