toronto has to score in these last 2 seconds. I have to think OT will be all Bucks.

I'll say this, it takes a special kind of focus to drive the stake into the heart of the Bucks right now, just in a single game. Makes the Celtics' 20-point beatdown in game 1 look better by the day.

I was kind of thinking the same. Sure, the Celtics looked like shit in the last 4 games against the Bucks, but maybe we discounted the fact the Bucks are really good and really well-coaches.

Hard to imagine that Jeremy Lin could be worse than VanVleet is playing right now. And agreed on Ibaka's baffling absence. With that and the two game-winning shot opportunities Nick Nurse has not covered himself in glory tonight.

And I found a way to (presumably) lose my Under 220.5 wager. Stevie Wonder could have seen this coming.

that actually looked like an offensive foul to me -

- oh wait, not on the replay. Giannis wasn't set, Siakam was too fast for him.

Wow. game-changing play.

It's all about who a coach trusts at this point. Lin and Connaughton know where they stand right now.

How awful has Middleton been offensively tonight?

Edit: Middleton and Bledsoe each 3-16 from the field.

Massive respect for Kawhi’s relentlessness. Felt like that was the difference.

I just saw on Sportscenter, so I don't have a cite, but Kerr is saying Durant's injury is a little more serious than they thought. He could be done for the year. Will it matter to GS? Probably not.

Kerr's "a little more serious" line was from last Thursday, after the last re-evaluation. Also: "can't put a number of days on it" and "has made good progress." Pretty sure there have no medical updates since then. He could be done for the year in the sense that we don't know anything for sure, but (correct me if I'm wrong) there's no new news to suggest that's any more or less likely than it was last Thursday. Probably fair to assume he's done for the WCF, but the Finals are still 10 days away. That's a lot of time to heal.

Most of the KD news over the last couple days has involved — stop the presses! — him being sensitive on the internet.

Definitely will matter against either Milwaukee or Toronto.

Iguodala out tonight with a sore calf; that makes three Team USA-ers on the shelf. Gonna take some more solid play from Swedish Larry, Quinn Cook, Jordan Bell, and Zo McKinnie for the Ws to pull this out.

Will it though? It hasn’t mattered against anyone else. Curry and Draymond clearly thrive in his absence while their ball movement makes them nearly unbeatable. I think the bigger loss would be Iguodala with his Achilles ready to explode right now.......with the worst “gain” being a Cousins return.

I mean, small sample but the Warriors look about equally strong with or without Durant. Obviously helps to have more redundancy but they don’t seem to miss him in terms of offensive efficiency.
