This series is epic. I feel bad for you East Coasters who have to go to bed early or the West Coasters who do too. I don't sleep but this makes it worth it.

25 off the bench on 8/12 shooting for Rodney Hood. He's made himself some money this postseason as he hits free agency this off-season.

Some of the games have been fun, but pretty sure these are the worst two of the seven teams remaining, I don’t think it’s close but I haven’t respected DEN all season.

We might be looking at 3 game 7s on Sunday if the rockets hold serve tonight.

3 game 7s on Mothers' Day, seriously nba

Is collins this good, or just having a good game?
Collins has been impressive all of the playoffs as well. He's your prototypical energy big off the bench giving you 20-25 mpg which may be his niche moving forward due to his propensity to foul and the style of play he offers. At just 21, he's going to make a ton of money playing this game as his role will always be in demand.

Its amazing that Rodney Hood and George Hill may both make the finals this year while LeBron sits at home sheeshing it up.
Not like they're gravy-train riding either — both have been totally killing it for their teams in the playoffs, and may have helped turn a game or three.

Meanwhile, old friend Jeff Green was great this season: 16.2 pts per 36 on .608 ts, probably the 2nd best player on the Wiz, for whatever that's worth.

Those three plus peak LeBron, Love and Korver last season should really have been a better team than they were. But the Cavs never really committed to a rotation (hemming and hawing between those guys and JR Smith, Nance, Tristan, Clarkson, Calderon et al.) or developed any chemistry. Just cos it's fun to blame LeBron for stuff, I'd assume that his attachment to his old crew (Smith and TT in particular) and ability to dictate coaching decisions played a big part in that.

Curry has had one game this postseason where he’s “gone off”. Game 1 vs the Clippers. 8-12 from 3 and 38 points. He’s been Kyrie level bad from 3 in this series. I think it’s the ankle/finger. I don’t know if he has a 40+ minutes, 40 point game in him at this stage.
Didn't he go off in the 4th quarter of Game 5, exactly when they needed him to? Understood that doing it for a game is different than doing it for a quarter, but I would not be surprised at all by a supernova Steph performance in KD's absence in one of these two games

Fwiw, Curry this playoffs:

23.5 PPG on .608 true shooting (.444 / .371 / .930)
5.7 rebounds
5.2 assists
1.2 steals
2.9 turnovers

Not peak Curry (yet?) but hardly awful, especially given the tweaked ankle and dislocated finger.

Ws definitely need the Unanimous version tonight, tho.

Yeah but there was a quarter that I watched against LAC where he did nothing and they torched him on defense. And then I caught the first half of a game against Houston and he missed badly. Elite players never have bad quarters, games or series. Ergo. Curry is washed.

So...who had Curry with 0 points, Durant with 0 minutes and a tie score on Houston's home court?

Houston hasn’t been able to make Golden State pay for their poor shot selection and lazy offense in this quarter. That has been the story of the game, GS has put it on a platter for Houston to force a Game 7, but the Rockets are wasting the opportunity.

It's fun/sad to see what the last two years of the NBA could have been if the Warriors hadn't gotten KD. This is compelling basketball, and it's forcing the Warriors to dig really deep.

Great ball movement to get Thompson that killer three point look. Fuck the Warriors but they showed why they are the champs tonight.
