Dame’s lack of ego is such a great thing to see. He has a right to demand to take that shot but instead he’s willing to defer to a hotter hand in the closing moments.

So denver should of double him, and hope whoever gets the ball is cold?
Tough call either way
I wouldn't feel that confident if it's dame that's open even though he hasn't hit a shot all night, but anyone else I'll take my chances rather than give CJ a pretty easy iso jumper

Evan Turner earning his entire 2018-19 salary in this 4th quarter.
Yep but to be honest, Stevens not only got him that salary but essentially saved his career. Stotts took that work and figured out a role for Turner. The past few years, he has essentially been the Blazers poor-man's Iguodala.

That game was fun and obviously hardfought, but also a lot of really dreadful basketball. McCollum was truly amazing all game long, Jokic was his normal really impressive self (although it's nice to play against a crippled and dehydrated Kanter), but the two teams shot 6-45 combined from 3 for the game. 6-45!!!!

Lillard was pretty invisible/awful for most of this series, game 6 and a few short stretches excepted. I don't think it was the defense, either he is playing hurt or he is still recovering after his superhuman effort to knock out OKC but he is pretty lucky McCollum played the game of his life today.

Talking margins, but I wonder how wise it was for Rockets to cut loose James Ennis. They could have used another big wing v. GS, and Ennis is more seasoned than Danuel House (who fell out of the rotation mid-series) and a lot longer than Rivers or Shumpert. He has looked solid on both ends in his minutes tonight.

You gotta love CJ's old school scoring line: 37 points on 17-29 field goals, consisting almost entirely of sweet mid-range Js and clever lay-ups.

For a guy with somewhat similar game and skills to Harden, McCollum's kind the anti-Harden in terms of where he gets his points, and the degree to which he baits the refs. (Indeed, I've heard Blazers fans complain that he doesn't sell calls nearly enough). Dude just exudes class and respect for the sport.

Super pleased to see a WCF of two classic teams who play the game the right way, both with great fanbases, and both led by super-likable backcourt tandems. How much of a chance the Blazers have probably depends on when KD and Boogie return, and how close to 100% they'll be when they do.

Without Embiid getting points inside, Philly really doesn’t have a lot of options on offense with Simmons limited by not being able to shoot. Toronto can bury them if they just execute on offense.

Butler has been ass today.

The problem for Toronto is that no one outside of Kawhi has been aggressive on offense this quarter and Philly has reacted by double teaming Kawhi and daring Lowry/Gasol/Siakam to beat them.

This is game is a total slog. It seems like every player is totally drained, how the hell are these guys going to play two more rounds ha

Ugh, Embiid extends his arm to plow over Gasol...blocking foul on Gasol.

In Gasol’s defense, I’ve counted at least three moments in the last five minutes when he has been completely fucked by the refs.
