once the words "human trafficking" are popping up I am ready to tap the breaks on figuring out my best puns until I see the scope of how horrible this is.

Between this and the deeply odd stuff with his girlfriend having a kid last year that ostensibly was not his kid, I think it's fair to say that Bob has a complicated romantic life.

I've seen a few reports out there that there's a human trafficking/sex trafficking part of this investigation as well? If these women were trafficked this obviously gets a lot worse.
Not for Kraft (unless they were kids).

A lot worse for the place of employment. I don't know how clientele are supposed to know that. Regardless, awfully stupid move by RK. I wouldn't be surprised to see him step down over this.

The human trafficking aspect makes this very concerning but if it ends up as nothing more than soliciting then I really don’t care. Obviously the former aspect changes things but if his worst crime ends up being a happy ending than I would say there are worse things to be caught doing.

The trafficking issue is very problematic. I'm assuming he was just a john.

One might think a public figure/billionaire might use a little more discretion than showing up at strip mall rub n tug parlor.

Blowing up in DC sports talk radio. Had no idea what or who they were talking about. Then it became clear they were talking about sex. Then came the remark, “this cannot be good for the Shield.” Finally came the remark, “this is not just a owner, this is THE owner ... you’d think he would have learned from Jerry Jones.”

Then, I knew.

Need to build the wall in FL, problem solved.

WBZ is saying the women were forced to live in the spas and sleep on the tables. This is going to be ugly.

Whether it’s human trafficking or luring 18 year olds with Craigslist or classified acting and modeling jobs, this is always the seedy background of the sex industry.

That prostitution is not legal and regulated is amazing in 2019. Obviously, it wouldn’t fix the problem overnight but it would make it better.

That he is charged with a misdemeanor suggests he has nothing to do with any of the corrupt practices that were behind the scenes but, yeah, every one who goes for a simple rub and tug for cash may well be providing the market for bad shit.

If the sex trafficking turns out to be true, my empathy for Kraft will be pretty minimal. He might not have known for sure the behind-the-scenes practices of the operation he was patronizing, but when you decide to buy those services from that kind of operation, you're making a conscious decision that you're okay with the extremely non-insignificant possibility you're financing human trafficking.

As others have said, this is another glaringly obvious example of why the sex trade needs to be legalized and regulated like any other industry.

Kraft will deny it, he'll plead no contest "to be done with this," and it'll fade away aside from a running joke in Magary's columns, after a week.

Edit: And I have no sympathy for Kraft -- a man of his means should be able to find a prostitute without almost any heavy lifting. Going to the rub 'n' tug is just ridiculous. It's like when athletes get popped for drunk driving when they could easily pay for an UberX or a driver.

Was he running the thing? If not, not on him.
I wonder if he will be forced to sell the team. Jerry Richardson had to sell based on just allegations, I think. Let alone charges filed.
Allegations he sexually harassed women. If Kraft just used the service, this is a different animal.

My guess is Jonathan just takes over.

Honestly quite surprised by this. Perhaps NFL owners are not the grounded and altruistic lot I’ve always believed them to be.

JFC...probably time to step down/out of the spotlight and let Jonathan fully takeover.

Irsay got 6 game suspension and a 500K fine for his drug charges which are worse than soliciting sex. I'd be shocked if he had to sell the team.

Have to say I’m looking forward to the attempts to get BB to comment on this at all.

I seriously think it’s unlikely that he or most men who go these places has really thought for a second about the underbelly of the sex industry. I guess that’s why the cops occasionally make examples of them. Now hopefully more will get it.

I think guys generally think the police are not all that interested in solicitation in massage parlors, and I would guess that’s true, but this is the risk for sure. If the place you walk into is being looked at for human trafficking, or organized crime, or money laundering, or drugs, you’re going to get caught.

Unfortunately not very surprising. You'd think he would be smarter than this though. Sketchy massage parlor in a strip mall?

No empathy from me. Feel a little bad for family who have to deal with this but likely not surprising to them. Hoping he steps down but think it's unlikely at this point.

I'd never heard of the phrase "rub and tug" before today (sheltered life). Now it's practically trending on Twitter.

I can't really fathom what it would be like to be a billionaire owner of a major sports team, but I *really* can't fathom being that guy and deciding to go to a joint like that. I guess after a while, he must really start to believe that nothing can touch him.

Some may find it funny, but this is a tragedy.

This is about a man who for all his team's success couldn't get enough happy endings.

[Pats fan]Just fortunate this wasn't announced Super Bowl week. South FL is crawling with Jet and Dolphin fans, you just know the police wanted to make the charge then.[/Pats fan]

I've heard rumblings that the women in his personal life always rubbed him the wrong way.
