In the span of 3 minutes, Aaron Ramsey got a pass he had no right making, intercepted, and almost caused a goal, and also missed a wide open goal from 10 feet.

I hate him, I hate him, I hate him

I actually thought Everton had a good offseason right until the moment they signed Rooney. I believe that it was a mistake signing him and not a proper striker.

Obviously Everton have never been relegated in the premier league era, but they have finished 17 twice (actually 3 times, but the first time was when there were 22 teams in the league).

I’d trade rosters + manager + ownership with Palace in a cocaine heartbeat
I don’t think anyone would have expected that about Roy, but I have been convinced he’s the right man. But you guys at least have more points. I hope Everton turn it around. There’s a lot of talent on that roster, hopefully they can turn it in to a more coherent team at the January window.

When is my man Bolasie back? I’ve seen him return from long absences twice for Palace and seemingly single-handed lay turn things around. Fingers crossed he can do the same for Everton.

You could see the game was getting away from Burnley's Tarkowski, I dunno if he was tired, mentally and physically...but he made a few short sighted clearances and i don't think he needed to make that challenge in the box, to give away the PK. Burnley had been eating up all Arsenal's balls into the box. Pope hardly had a save to make during Arsenal's periods of dominance in the second half towards the end. Arsenal had lots of the ball but not a lot of clear cut chances, cos Burnley are so well organised.

Fair play to Arsenal though, they got the result on a tough afternoon.

Can a caretaker manager be sacked? It's been 5 weeks since Everton fired their manager, kind of unheard of taking that long to find a new manager in the EPL . God, they look hopeless. Big Sam doesn't even want to touch them?

West Ham have a brutal schedule after Everton, if they do poorly enough Moyes could be out after maybe 2 months

I have mixed feelings on Moyes, I almost feel that the club he takes over has to be relegated and he has to rebuild from the ground up. I don't see him as a Winston Wolfe manager unlike Big Sam. Moyes spent over a decade at Everton, that was his resume. Then he had the thankless task of taking over Man Utd, fired, then Sunderland ( how many managers has Sunderland had ?) It's a managers graveyard. Then the Spanish experiment. How many wins in total...not many.

Anyway, I'm not trying to focus on Moyes. My point is how inept the Everton board is....if you friggin fire a manager... have some sort of back up plan. Be able to appoint the next manager within 10 days ........the board is rudderless. It blows my mind given they are in the EPL and get a shit load of millions just for being there. Protect your investment at least by having a plan. They appear not to have any.

I’m not the biggest fan of Pep because I think he falls into that Phil ?Jackson hole of being awesome because he coaches stars...that said, his job coaching up Sterling has been quite impressive. As recently as this summer I thought Sterling was all speed with no brains and average skill, but his performance this season has made me reset my opinion.
