Seemingly yes. It's of course possible that he did it when he came back for one game, but the scan after that missed it also and he's been staying off it totally for a while now.

Obviously a big loss, he was NY's best player this year, but Bird has been OK so far filling in.

These things never cease to amaze me.  If it had been you or I and we went to the ER, we would have been in a cast or brace that night.  How do these top notch doctors with access to the best medical equipment at their fingertips at The Stadium not catch this?  Hello Greg Bird, goodbye Wally Pipp.
