I can't stand the Porn Star, but he has great moves in the post. Fantastic footwork. I think Muss will pull some surprises on defense tonight. But yeah, I'm just hoping for a close game too.

Frankly I'm still surprised by how well Gonzaga has recruited these last what, 12 years or whatever? Pretty remarkable. And yea Timme is awesome and paired with Holmgren it's just too much.

I actually think TT is a decent matchup for Duke, all things considered.

But maybe more important could be the intangible aspect. Duke stared down the end of K's career on Sunday - down 5, 5 minutes to play - and instead of letting the moment overwhelm them, they stormed back with a 20-6 closing run to win.

That may or may not mean anything tonight. But I could see the pressure being off a little bit, and last Sunday's win being a galvanizing moment.

We shall see.

Yeah Duke should probably be playing the earlier game, but it does give Gonzaga the benefit of 2 extra hours of rest heading into Saturday, not that that is anything close to material for college kids.

I'm not staying up to watch Duke tonight, that's for sure.

Edit: weird stat that may only interest me: Coach K has never won a West region Sweet 16 game (0-3 all time).

Frankly I'm still surprised by how well Gonzaga has recruited these last what, 12 years or whatever? Pretty remarkable. And yea Timme is awesome and paired with Holmgren it's just too much.

That was largely thanks to the current Arizona coach (Tommy Lloyd) who found and recruited guys like Sabonis, Rui, and most of the other international players. The recent influx of top talent aside Tommy was the main reason Gonzaga recruited as well as they have over the last 20 years. Its going to be real interesting to see how the recruiting looks going forward now that he is at Arizona.

It's really unbelievable. I want to watch and root very hard against Coach K, but I'm not staying up until 1am for that. I'm old and will find out tomorrow if we vanquish that particular villain.
