Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't think that really was a "technicality" bobble. He didn't have full possession until he was way out of bounds.

Keep your hands on the ball buddy. Washington lucky there.

They need to just get rid of replay. That’s not a catch by the actual rule and in super slow motion.

I get why anyone would say it’s a catch in the spirit of the game, but he never controlled it by rule until he was well out of bounds.

So you think the ref ignored the "actual rule" and made the call in the spirit of the game?

It was clearly, 100% not a catch based on the "actual rule".

Why they decided to make the incorrect call, who knows. Refs suck.
