Yep, and it's not even particularly close.
Completely. Not only best halftime shows, one of the best musical things I’ve seen. Other than Eminem messing up the lip sync it was a 10/10. Exactly the songs they should have played and done absolutely perfectly

Bengals kicker watching the halftime show instead of being in the locker room. Is that a taunting penalty?

I said the same thing. He botched it a few times.

Agreee. They did chop up some songs too early. But fucking fantastic. I would have said remove 50 and Kendrick, still with the OG and have them do some 2pac
No way can you cut Kendrick. He's the next generation, both musical torch-bearer and just pragmatically to appeal to the younger viewers.

50 had no business being on that stage.

Shoulda hopped into the cars and played something from the Chronic or Doggystyle as they drove off.
Also, there were rumors of a Tupac hologram so I didn’t like the tease with 2 Tupac songs / beats

The halftime show cemented once and for all that rap and hip hop is so, so far off my radar. I didn't see what made that so much better than any others.

If I can nitpick…I almost wish the sets were used to tell more of a linear story starting with N.W.A.

As someone that grew up with the music, it struck me while watching, how improbable it is that this would wind up a Super Bowl halftime show.
But I guess moving it even further toward a west coast hip hop celebration and retrospective, makes it even less mainstream lol

That halftime show really lacked people of non color or whatever the politically correct term is.

I was entertained by the show. I enjoy the takes in here either being "What, this is considered music?" Or "Greatest Musical spectacle of my lifetime."

See him live if you get the chance. Dude might be the most talented person on that stage and as we know, most of those folks aren't slouches.
I had never really listened to him but started when he and Bruno Mars released their album as silk sonic, and you’re not wrong, he’s incredible

Goddamn I loved that halftime show.

I knew Em wasn't going to do Godzilla, but I was hoping for something. It's about playing the hits, but still...

Either way. Fucking loved it.

I’m just annoyed Em didn’t have to be censored. I lost $25 on that
