It's nice to see Iggy back in the AL East. He looks a little more grown-up than his time in Boston, in spite of his shaggy back-mop.

Impressive inning for Enmanuel DeJesus outside of the bloop single from Davis, showing some bite on his slider and the radar showing 94 on his fastball.

Woke up from a nap to hear that someone got fisted. These promotions are getting out of control.

Ugly D there. Had the runner dead going second to third, with the force, on a grounder and dropped the ball.

Wild pitch/passed ball scores the run. Maybe the Sox can keep the Os to single digits, but it's gonna be tough.

They have 33 pitchers in camp and just claimed another one, so at least a few are bound to suck. Also it's the first game for most.
overreacting is fun.

But Matt Hall very likely sucks. Chris Mazza too. and Jhonathan Diaz is a non-prospect at this point, but I was mostly talking about the first two.

Benintendi gets the Sox on the board on the second pitch of the game. Nice trade, Twins.

Dammit. Cannot believe that the game that's not on NESN or MLBN has actual major leaguers on the Red Sox.
MLBTV though if you have that. Is it possible to cut Hart in the middle of an inning? Second straight appearance he’s looked terrible, hitting 88 on the fast ball and two bombs (so far)

Per SoxProspects, he tops out at 92, so I don't even think he's injured.

Profiles as an emergency depth starter that spends most of his career at Triple-A.

Velazquez is an interesting guy. Not sure what the plan is for him this season. Middle reliever/Opener/Emergency 5th starter?
As long as his pitching is closer to 2018 than 2019 (which semed to be almost entirely a product of worse control), probably all of those.

Red Sox lose 3-2 to the Twins, had the tying run at third in the ninth.

Red Sox tie 2-2 against the Rays, stranding the winning run at third in the ninth.

Best news of the spring is Eovaldi’s start. Hit 99. Threw strikes. Still healthy as of 5 hours later.

Today is the dreaded home game vs Orioles not televised in any way. If they could just put a camera there, that would be good enough for me.

Will JetBlue even be 1/2 full for this one? 2 teams with with disappointed fanbases (for the most part) and front offices not really trying to win in 2020.
