Truped by Flemming and Deerbec.
He still walked three in four innings and fell behind batters routinely, but he was dramatically better in the third and fourth. I was encouraged overall, but it was a turbulent beginning for him-- from what the radio broadcast sounded like anyways.I just see the stat line, you're saying his command wasn't great, numbers or no?
It was only on radio so I have to trust Bradfo and Flemming, but it was really just command, especially of the fastball during the first few innings. He has a habit of not getting strike one so far during the spring, but it was a hugely encouraging outing on the whole.Johnny Damon trying to make bail?
Missed his part of the game. Did Richards get lucky with loud outs, or was it just command?
Mostly here for the analysis and my entertainment but this is bloody brilliant. I love words and this is as clever as it gets. I lived in New Orleans for years (down the street from Art Neville) and this is especially relevant. (RIP Art and Charles Neville).
