I don't think there is a single cheap hit today. Rockets all over the field.
Yeah, good stuff, already 10 hard-hit balls from the Sox through 4:

Rafael Devers Alex Colome 3 Lineout 107.9 12 297
Michael Gettys Alex Colome 3 Double 107.8 6 128
Marwin Gonzalez Alex Colome 3 Groundout 105.8 3 80

Yeah, the feed is always about 4 minutes or so behind. Sucks, but I still enjoy having all the games.
Same here. This is really the 1st time I've used it much for the Sox. EEI-AM is barely audible in SE NH.

Whose idea was this mercy rule? Seems not fan friendly.
I don't mind it for the first few weeks of Spring Training, especially mid-pandemic. It's not like watching some minor league reliever get completely drubbed or have multiple pitching changes because it's early and no one can find the plate made for some sort of scintillating viewing experience.

I was just in my car between 2:45 and 3:45, and I have Sirius XM and couldn't find any games. There were just a couple of guys talking on all the stations. Where did you guys find the game on Sirius XM?

It comes up as 843 on my phone app. (But I'm listening on an echo dot, so i just ask it for "RedSox on siriusxm")

Duran with a double and homer in two at bats so far today. Game isn’t on mlb.tv for some reason tho so I can’t watch

Lineup for today at Baltimore: (not televised)

Arauz 2B
Duran CF
Arroyo SS
Dalbec 1B
Munoz 3B
Puello RF
Gettys LF
Yorke DH
Bandy C

Andriese P

Sox up 2-0. Duran doubled and scored on a Puello single. Gettys walked with the bases loaded.

Duran just hit a home run in the second. Make that 3-0!

Well, I got sping'd. I popped on the game just as Houck was being pulled for Feltman. I made the mistake of concentrating on work for a bit, and then hear that Houck was being pulled and thought that sirius had jumped back as it occasionally does by hiccup. Nope. he got pulled twice.

Houck with a rough outing. Got 2 outs, allowed 2 hits, 5 walks, charged with 3 ER. Could have been more but Feltman came in with the bases loaded and only allowed a sac fly.

Houck bailed out again. This time by a Steven Gonsalves. -- 2Ks with runners on 1st and 3rd.

But in the fifth Gonsalves gives up a three run homer. 6-3 Orioles
And so it ends.
Philips Valdez was unable to give up -3 runs when the O's had their last AB while ahead in the bottom of the 6th. (A sentence that is both an accurate and and unprecedented description of the end of a major league baseball game).

It wasn't yesterday either - was the Orioles yesterday. You are watching Wednesday's game which was the last one televised. A great game to see though if you like seeing the Sox score runs.

Following along on gameday, how did the first inning end!?
I’m also just following along bc mlb.tv doesn’t have it but I’m assuming they did the thing they’re doing this season where the managers can just call the inning if a pitchers getting shelled. Probably the rays wanted hill to go two innings

Either that or a bases loaded triple play with three guys running into ours at third but that seems unlikely

Huge sigh of relief after that outing from Rodriguez. Glad to hear he had life on his fastball and really seemed to throw his entire arsenal-- didn't hear mention of the changeup I guess.

Kiké's .888 on base percentage so far this Spring suggests that Cora might be on to something about leading him off LOL
