Houck finishes an excellent outing with a 4 pitch walk following his 6th strikeout. Leaves with 2 out in the 5th

Other than Plawecki, that could be Thursday's lineup.

But the Atlanta shortstop gest a second chance to start the double-play, and the game is over.

OK, who´s got the opening day start?

I've got my Rio Agua Sucia pic locked and ready, hopefully posting it a lot this year.

I tuned out after the 5th and imagine my pleasant surprise when Duran HR'd, off of Soroka of all pitchers.

He could be really damn good, it's taking effort to mute my expectations since it was spring training competition, but... the swing change seems real.

Exactly!

First it was the alternate site, where he was crushing it against, uhh... the 2020 Red Sox’ pitching depth. Not exactly the 1990s Atlanta Braves rotation.

Then it was the Puerto Rican Winter League and the Caribbean Series, where the position player talent is amazing, but the pitching... is less impressive.

And now it’s Spring Training.

He can only face the players in front of him, but he’s done really well. I think we’ll all be fascinated to see what he does in AAA.
