Feels like they should send Crawford and Valdez down, but who comes up? Winckowski and Seabold are the only pitchers on the 40-man not in Boston.

The good news is they still have 5 months to figure it out. The bad news is, if they don’t figure it out we still have 5 months of this pigfuckery.

I am traveling 800 total miles to watch 2 games next weekend. I haven't been able to stomach even 1 9 inning game yet this year. Not sure how I'm going to sit through 2 whole games of this debauchery

I am not watching this game by choice and just getting the notification alerts on my phone. It is depressing me. Can't imagine how I would feel actually watching this.

Not sure I get pitching Plawecki when Diekman and Robles threw an inning each this series, but I don’t get a lot of things this team is doing.

Are the Sox bad now? absolutely. Are they hard if not impossible to watch? yup. I share the collective disgust with this team so far. But here's another take: they are built for the second half. Hopefully Sale and Paxton will be back, Houk in the pen and Whitlock as closer, Casas up (and maybe Duran) and maybe they trade for a RF. They are as of right now exactly 3 GB in the WC. Once you get in anything can happen. MLB history is littered with teams that came back after horrible starts. Reason to be concerned? yes. Panic? nope.

There is zero reason to expect anything from Sale or Paxton at this point.

Also, it's Houck. With a c.
