I'm so mad you jerk don't like Arizona this week.
ARI is a pick we probably should have thought more about particularly since they don't have a lot of future value, but they do get MIN at home in week 14 so hopefully we can use them there.

guys i'm totally drained so I'll be checking in tomorrow morning and my proposal is we go

9/6/4/2 based on the %s this week

Kick around anything you like and make your case to others and when I wake up tomorrow and settle in to make the picks around 11, I'm hoping to see some sort of scenario has one out.
I don't think it makes a huge difference but playing 9 picks on NO seems counterproductive - i.e., we are basically just mirroring the general population.

I'm going to suggest that the NO / MIA picks be split 7-7. MIA doesn't have as much future value, so we should overplay them (and underplay NO) here. There was also a semi-consensus that we do that.

If people agree with that, I would do NO = 7; MIA = 7; BAL = 5; and PIT = 2.

But I care a lot less about the remaining 5-7 picks than I do about the NO & MIA distribution.

Scenarios I through together based on chatter.  Bold and I'll put the picks in at 12.

Scenario 1
Trust the vote
NO (8), MIA (6), BAL (4), PIT (2), IND (1)

Scenario 2
Trim the vote
NO(9), MIA(6), BAL(4), PIT (2)

Scenario 3
3 team heavy NO
NO (11), MIA(6), BAL (4)

Scenario 4
3 team heavy MIA
NO (8), MIA(9), BAL (4)

Scenario 5
Low NO w/ PIT
NO (4), MIA(8), BAL (5), PIT(4)

Scenario 6
Low NO w/ PIT
NO (4), MIA(8), BAL (4), PIT(3), IND (2)

Other sell it

I don't think the Vikings offense is as bad as they let on I'm week 1.

With Jeffery definitely out (per Rappaport), I don't see how Chicago is going to get the ball down the field if Arizona focuses on Forte.

That said, I guess I'll go with the second Scenario 5 (aka Scenario 6)

Scenario 4
3 team heavy MIA
NO (8), MIA(9), BAL (4)

I prefer 10-6-5 but this is the closest to my vote.

You still feel this way?  I've been all over the place this week, which I did not expect.  I'm with you on the three teams:

SCENARIO 4

Can we start discussing how to allocate? Is the consensus to use NO on the week 1 Miami entries and spread the rest?

If there is no major swing in the next 5 minutes. That's the plan.

Picks are in, but not locked until 12:45

Lots of people are praying for NO to lose.

My other pool has 43/65 on NO.

I did not go with them.

I need Miami and Pitt to come through.

I understand going against the grain sometimes but some of these picks are nuts.

Only three teams didn't get picked at all.  Jaguars, Redskins and Jets.

Yeah, you've got to figure a few of these are pure donations to the cause.

GJGE Saints.

Edited:  sorry, didn't mean to game thread this.  I'll add that although it sucks potentially losing those picks, at least we went with the lesser Miami-heavy version.

Peace out Saints. At least the pool had a higher % on them than we did

Or did it? Rough math says around 40% for both
