So, given we can't seem to reach 30 GMs, what is it that people want to do? Should we continue sitting in a holding pattern waiting for others to sign up? Alternatives?

Now up to 29 with a GM we can slot in to the 30th slot (although I'd still prefer to have a couple "Taxi Squad" members...someone or someones will drop out).

Scoopy - I'm #1 on your taxi squad list. Given my busy (well, more busy than usual) season is almost up, I'll be ready to step in when y'all need a replacement. I just want someone else to start it, flake out and be the person I can blame for how bad the team is because after my performance last season, it'll certainly be bad.

Background on how that's determined: I believe in the past I had the computer randomize the draft order, which is easy for me unless Scoops has another idea.

Works for me. Last year I wrote all the usernames on slips of paper and drew them out of a hat; computer randomization seems a touch more elegant.
 
We now have 30 teams and 2 backups. This is a final call for any rule change suggestions and opinions to be expressed. If you have a preference regarding how to handle minor leaguers (i.e. exception list, AA and above, etc), pick clock, or anything else, this is the time to say so. Once the draft order has been determined, the official draft thread will go up.

I prefer the exceptions list and a 24 hour pick clock.  But I'm cool with whatever.

Draft hasn't started yet.  Scoops will post the draft thread at some point with whatever the final rules are about ml players, time limits, etc and then he can take Tim Salmon.
