No, no.

Just, like, you're bathing your daughter. And I'm all like, post pictures of it as "proof", but in reality I'm a sicko perv who wants to see naked kids.

You know, just internet stuff.

I feel like I'm more than 3 picks behind as I still have 5 open slots, according to the sheet?

No, no.

No, just 3 picks to make right now. After all rosters are filled there's going to be a FFA on the injury slots.

Do we want to have one person take on a team of someone that has dropped out and make the picks for that team?  I can pick up another team.  At the last chart update, end of round 25, these are the missing picks.
Jaylach-3  He has picked since being away and needs to catch up
ToeNash-1
SoxFan58-2
NJ Sox Fan-6
KFP-7
Bored Viewer-1
Kramerica-1

I'll make a throwaway pick to help you folks move this along: BoredViewer: Jordany Valdespin, BP

BoredViewer has exactly three OFers on roster: Michael Morse, Jacoby Ellsbury, and Ryan Ludwick. None of them are exactly known for their ability to stay healthy. His DH is Billy Butler and his infield bench consists of Casey McGehee and Alex Rodriguez. So, he has DH/1B/3B backed up and he can put McGehee at 3B and slide current third baseman Kelly Johnson to 2B or LF in case of injury or off day. Best case scenario is that BoredViewer still needs someone to back up at least SS/CF/RF, and 2B/LF would be useful as well.

Being caught for steroids, lack of hitting at the MLB level, and current minor league contract aside, Jordany Valdespin is just 26-years-old. He can play SS/2B/LF/CF/RF, has a bit of pop for his position(s), and actually hit a bit in the minors. He could possibly be a useful super utility man against RHP. More likely is that he's simply a body who can play a lot of positions. Valdespin is one of the only guys available who can be the primary backup for four or five starters on BoredViewer's team as is currently needed.

All right, for Toe Nash's last pick he can have Brandon Barnes - BP5

Has good defensive numbers, especially in CF.  Not great with the bat, but has some pop, esp against lefties.  Having a true defender gives him a lot of options around the OF, and potentially frees up Don Kelly to stay in the IF. And that's as much thinking as I put into it.

So, we can finish this off now, right?

I'll spoil my picks if I'm wrong

It's fun and all, but c'mon.
Stop Kershawing, Jesus. How hard is that damn lesson to learn?

THE RESERVE DRAFT FREE FOR ALL WILL BEGIN TUESDAY, APRIL 22ND, AT 8 PM (EST).

Also, the Reserve Draft is 3 rounds, not two. It looks like Curll has only taken 25 players before his erroneous spoilered picks (which should be deleted, as those will not be counted), but if that is incorrect and he already took a 26th, that pick is also invalid and does not count.

DO NOT "KERSHAW", I.E., DO NOT PICK PRIOR TO 8 PM ON THE 22ND. ANY PICK MADE PRIOR TO THAT TIME IS INVALID AND WILL NOT BE COUNTED.

Looks like 25 to me (unless you're not counting Pedro - and I can always move him to the DL anyway)
I wasn't aware Pedro was hurt

Also, please make the following switch:

Pedro Martinez (DL)
Felipe Paulino (RP)

In the spirit of our DL list - that being people who will come in if our regular players go on the DL - Pedro can hang out there until needed. And meanwhile he can inspire all of my pitchers to be even more awesome.

Goddammit, seconds late on Francisco.  (Seriously, had my eye on him since about round 18.  Bah.  Bah!)

Tyler Lyons, SP
Jesus Aguilar, 1B
Mike Fiers, SP

I actually feel pretty good about those three... Lyons would be starting this year for a team that was less utterly stacked than the Cardinals, Aguilar is killing the ball in AAA as is Fiers (which is how I found them) who was a pretty solid pitcher as recently as 2012, and wasn't as bad as his ERA suggests in 2013.

Edit: Oops. It helps when you go for guys who aren't eligible. I thought Aguilar was in AAA last year but it was AA. Instead I'll go with an interesting high OBP middle infielder also out of the Cardinals awesome system.

Here is my final roster.

Vs Left                                            Vs Right
1. Kole Calhoun (L) LF                   Kole Calhoun (L) 1B
2. Martin Prado (R) 2B                    Martin Prado (R) 2B
3. Andrew McCutchen (R) CF          Andrew McCutchen (R) CF
4. Gaby Sanchez (R) 1B                Brian McCann (L) C
5. Pablo Sandoval (B) 3B               Adam Lind (L) DH
6. Brian McCann (L) DH                 Pablo Sandoval (B) 3B
7. Chris Young (R) RF                    Jon Jay (L) RF
8. David Ross (R) C                       Nate McLouth (L) LF
9. Jose Ramirez (B) SS                 Dean Anna (L) SS

Bench-Clint Barmes

SP-Madison Bumgarner, Hyun-Jin Ryu, Martin Perez, Wade Miley, Erik Johnson
RP-Jordan Walden, Mike Dunn, Daniel Webb, Chris Capuano, Allen Webster, David Hale

Reserves-SP Kyle Crick, C Daniel Butler, OF James Ramsey

As everyone does at this time of year I like my team.  I think the strength of the team is my lineup against right-handed pitchers and my starting staff.  The major weakness is shortstop were I decided to go real young.  I might end up having to play Barmes who is awesome defensively but has no bat.  My bullpen is adequate but not great, although it has good starting pitching depth with Capuano, Webster, and Hale.

I also like that the average age is 26.5 years and that only Ross and Barmes will likely retire within the next five years.  I am hoping Butler can fill in for Ross and one of Anna or Ramirez will develop to make Barmes expendable.  McLouth is getting old but can be replaced by Ramsey and Capuano will move to a straight loogy role as he ages.

Looking back at the draft I feel like I had 3 major overdrafts.  I drafted Sanchez and Young to early as the weak side of a platoon and I drafted Crick to early because I misinterpreted the rules.

Now, if Prado and Sandoval realize the season has begun and Calhoun and Lind can get healthy this team will give it a good run.

So I just drafted this to OOTP 15. I'm cleaning up the rosters now and will then run a season or two. If you have any major roster edits (position or the like) get 'em in now.
