If anyone is interested in taking a team over at this juncture, please let that be known. Otherwise, given how late in the draft we are, we will simply let teams make picks as they have the opportunity to do so.

For the record, my list will just be a grouped set of players (by position) ordered by the highest WAR. Don't have time to do more than that.

The guy I was going to pick dropped. I believe it was thanks in part to a rough ST outing the other day. There is one thing that he hasn't done through the spring and that's walk anyone. I think he's really come around on his control and showed decent durability by pitching almost 180 innings last year through AA, AAA and the MLB. The best thing, is that his numbers got better as he moved up. He should be a familiar face or name around here...

The Wonderbeards select Stolmy Pimentel, RP

The 6'3" 220 lb right-hander gives me another option out of the pen that can start if necessary. I think he's coming into his own and will either be a great middle of the rotation starter or an excellent reliever/long-man out of the pen. You can never have enough pitching...

I actually really love my picks this round, you guys. That probably means that they're awful.

With the last pick in round 19, the Bombers select Alex Colome, BP2 (for now).

I've almost selected Colome for the last couple of rounds now, and I'm thrilled that he fell to me here. He's got absolutely electric stuff and a consistently 95 MPH fastball. He's proven he can pitch well at the AAA level and was great in a couple of cup-of-coffee starts for Tampa Bay last summer. The issue with Colome is durability - he's had health problems in the past and may not be able to handle a full workload as a starter. If he can't, he profiles as an excellent reliever and my #1 set-up man right now.

Colome's status on my team is uncertain. With Beachy's status unknown, I'm continuing to stretch him out as a starter in major league camp with the hopes that I can go with a rotation that consists of Strasburg / Beachy / Jordan / Carrasco / Heaney as my 1-5. If Beachy needs a second Tommy John surgery, Colome and Henry Owens will compete for the vacated #5 spot while the loser ends up in the bullpen. It's not ideal, but with the pitching depth my team has now I can survive (or at least tread water) with my #2 and #3 starters possibly losing a year or more to surgeries. I'd feel better about my team and would have a couple of bullpen aces by now if Medlen and Beachy hadn't gone down, but under the circumstances I think my team will still be reasonable in 2014.

Rays pitcher Alex Colome suspended 50 games without pay after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance.

Got them both. Just PM when Jay makes his pick, I'll get them both up unless Jay manages to grab one.

Okay. The 12 hours are up.
For RGB:
LJ Hoes, BP Astros

Provides depth at all 3 outfield positions and showed potential last year after his trade from the Orioles, He is only entering his age 24 season as well.

For DD:

Tony Watson, RP

EDIT: NJ PM'd

Great choice in photos, this is what I had above.  Thanks Mak, Mak do you think Hoes can replicate what he showed after his trade from the Orioles this year?

Watson is a very good pick, I was hoping he'd stay under the radar for a while.  You never know with relief pitchers, but he's improved every year, consistently shuts down lefties, and isn't bad against righties either.

Thanks. Won't claim to know anything about him until now, but he does handle righties pretty well, leading me to think he can be a pretty dominant late-inning reliever, full stop.

Of course, I apparently need to further hedge against my early choice of 'Proven Closer.' Pretty glad I grabbed Wilson, but I doubt he'll be enough.

I don't see why not. The BA might be a tad higher than what he'll do going forward but none of his stats are really out of line with what he did in AAA the last couple seasons.

LJ Hoes is one of the fringe guys who probably never makes it. His ceiling is Bobby Kielty.

I think he can be a decent 4th OF. He shouldn't really be starting but he does a little bit of everything. His defense is probably what makes or breaks him TBH.

Thanks Mak.

Now that I'm here again, some thoughts:

It's the 21st round, and I'm still able to pick a starting pitcher who has gotten 26 or more starts for the past 8 seasons, only one time with an ERA+ below 87 (and that only a 79), and is only 31 years old? Oh, and he's a lefty too?

Yeah, he's not exactly amazing, but, in the 21st round, as some added starting pitching depth, that's pretty awesome.

I guess I need a utility infielder.  This guy is a good enough SS to start for the Twins.  I'm sure he can cover 2B and 3B as well.

Logg, if you're actually in the thread I'm ready to go with a pick (unless you steal it)

My pitching staff has zero lefties.  I'll fix that by drafting:

Charlie Furbush, RP

He has a funny name, he strikes out a ton of guys, he kills lefties, and he's not bad against righties.  Also he's entering his prime and his peripherals have been improving and he doesn't give up home runs.   Etc. etc., he's really good.

You dick. That was my pick.

Goddamn it.

Alright, I'll go with Randall Delgado RP instead

EDIT: PM sent. Also, Scoops what do we do about KFP if he doesn't pick before it gets back to him?
