With Indianapolis dispatching Tennessee, the regular season is in the books and the matchups are set. That means it's time to fire this thread up for the 2019 playoffs.

Final seedings are below.

Make your picks for each game through SB LIII in Atlanta (including the final score of the SB).

As always, one point for each winner you pick.

Correctly selecting a winner in the Divisional Round gets you a point, regardless of whether you nailed the matchup.

I’ll track the results and post standings throughout the playoffs. Any entry posted in this thread before kickoff of the first playoff game next weekend will be in the mix.

Good luck.

=======

AFC:
1. KC (12-4)
2. NE (11-5)
3. HOU (11-5)
4. BAL (10-6)
5. LAC (12-4)
6. IND (10-6)

Round 1:
6 – IND @ 3 – HOU
5 – LAC @ 4 – BAL

Round 2:
3, 4, or 5 @ 2 – NE
4, 5, or 6 @ 1 – KC

NFC:
1. NO (13-3)
2. LAR (13-3)
3. CHI (12-4)
4. DAL (10-6)
5. SEA (10-6)
6. PHI (9-7)

Round 1:
6 – PHI @ 3 – CHI
5 – SEA @ 4 – DAL

Round 2:
3, 4, or 5 @ 2 – LAR
4, 5, or 6 @ 1 – NO

==========

After 3 went 11-0 in 2017, no one finished better than 7-4 last year.

Who will lead SoSH in a return to crystal ball glory?

In the AFC, give me:
Indy over Houston
Chargers over Ravens, then

NE over Chargers
KC over Indy, and

KC over NE (in spite of Andy Reid).

In the NFC, I'll take:
Chicago over Philly
Dallas over Seattle, then

Rams over Chicago
NO over Dallas, and

Rams over NO.

For the Super Bowl, I'll take Rams 44, KC 34.

OK I will have a go again, after a fairly average performance last year..

AFC:
Indy over Houston
Chargers over Ravens

New England over Chargers
Indy over KC (they're on a roll)

New England over Indy (should be the other way around, but Indy are f*kers, so I won't vote for them)

NFC:
Chicago over Philly (low scoring game in the snow)
Seattle over Dallas (giving all of the USA conniptions)

Chicago over the Rams
NO over Seattle

NO over Chicago

SB: New England pulls the upset (edit 31-28), and spurs multiple retirements (I believe in miracles...).

Patriots in 3: Houston, KC, NO
Who cares about the rest? Although Dallas losing to Seattle Saturday is another thing I predict (Jerry and The Clapper expressions when they lose is something I like to see); and well, I don’t like the Rams either so LA should be beaten. The Chargers? For me they don’t qualify as an LA team and besides, Philip Rivers is such a mediocre QB, that I don’t care.

So, @patoaflac, three questions:
(1) Does that mean you have BAL over LAC?
(2) Care to take a winner in CHI-PHI?
(3) And who do you have NO beating in the NFC Championship?

I’d rather the Patriots lose the AFCG than lose another Super Bowl. Brady losing a 4th Super Bowl would hurt his legacy a little.

I follow football, but not like baseball, and I'm likely going on wishful thinking more than anything else, but what the hell:

Round 1:
Houston over Indy
Chargers over Baltimore

Round 2:
Pats beat Houston
Chargers upset Chiefs

Pats beat Chargers

NFC:

Round 1:
Chicago beats Philly
Dallas tops Seattle

Round 2:
Rams beat the Bears
Saints beat Dallas

Saints top Rams.

Superbowl: Pats 28 Saints 20

For the first time ever, Philip Rivers's Chargers peak at the right time. They win on the road three times, a la Eli and the Giants, before stunning New Orleans in the final. San Diego weeps-- but they have a parade there anyway, because they're just so darn nice.
