I have in lineup, but not as captain.

Unfortunately I missed the news Son wasn't playing and completely missed the fact that I started Kompany today.

Captain Kun dropping 50 for you, that helps.

I don't understand bouns points though. Some guy is sitting on 141 points(!) right now and Aguero is listed as scoring 75 for him, rather than 50 for you.

I'm back to 11th which makes a lot more sense given where I started the weekend.

Second to last after having used the wild-card.

Chelsea - along with Yaya/Silva's injuries - have ruined my year

Year isn't over--remember there's a big "Cup" thing that starts in Week 16. Prepare your squad for that.

The top 2,097,152 scoring teams enter, you get randomly drawn against another team, and play it through. Winner gets a tablet, Nike match ball, and FIFA 16 game.

Right now, I'm in 55th in SoSH league and in sitting just out of the qualifying at 2,234,107.

I started the season strong, slipped the past 2 weeks, then rebounded after De Bruyne racked up 30 this week, and Lukaku and Pelle netted. Somehow, my team auto-substituted Pelle in for Kompany. Obviously, a huge swing, but I have no idea how it happened.

Also, I jumped off the Chelsea wagon, minus Willian quick, I suggest you do the same. One week at a time my friend.

No games this weekend. Might want to hold off on transfers until next week.

Edit- NM, no FT reset on the 12th.

I started the season with Hazard and Fabregas and I dumped them like a sack of potatoes. I haven't been afraid to take a -4 to make necessary moves. Getting Aguero was essential to the surge. My big thing besides Based Kun was the three clean sheets I got from Nacho, Bellerin, and Cech. I actually forgot to set my line up and was worried I didn't have Aguero as my captain. I did cuz I thought he would tear ass against Tottenham the weak previous (which he did not). I do have to make some changes as I have a couple injured players, including Callum Wilson, RIP.

Soooo...played that triple captain points option today. Selected Kane as my captain.

I'm currently sitting at 87 points.

When I check out other teams in the standings, it seems like they're playing a 3-4-3 formation, whereas I'm stuck selecting 4-4-2. I know you can play wild cards to get a 2-3-5 formation and some other funky stuff, but it sure seems like some of you guys are playing a 3-4-3 consistently. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills?!?

Try to substitute a forward for a defender. That should allow you to play a 3-4-3.

I think you have to sub a MF for a defender, then you can sub a F for a MF.

That was an ugly fantasy weekend.

Yeah---I crashed out of the Cup competition to a team that scored 35 points.

You fuckers have finally caught me. I was at 19th in the USA at one point (with next to zero clue what I was doing) and have quite predictably plummeted like a stone.

I always figured your fandom of the Championship gave you an afvantage in finding undervalued talent. Glad to hear you're just pissing into the wind too.

That did help me get off to the start with a bunch of bournemouth, leicester, and watford players. But otherwise, yes, clueless.

Not that I've got any chance, being in 19th place, but there's a good looking battle taking place for this years title - only 30 points covering 1st to 5th.

It would be interesting to hear what wildcards or bonus options any of those five still have available for the rest of the season - if they're willing to go public?

It doesn't take too much working out to suggest that Week 34 (16th April) is going to be a hum-dinger and will really test the strategies.

As for myself, I've still got 2 free transfers, a wildcard and all three booster options available to me so I still might be able to do some damage but will probably have to go a bit left-field will some selections in order to make up some points on those in front of me.

Good luck to all.

I'm currently on top the table but I fancy Leicester's chances of staying there ahead of my own.

As far as chips, I have my bench boost, triple captain and 2nd wildcard still left.

Needless to say, I've been spending quite a few hours of company time planning out my transfers/when to use my chips since they announced the double gameweeks.

Can someone please clue me in as to these double gameweek shenanigans??
Some teams have played fewer games than others. They need to even up eventually. So there are some game weeks where teams have 2 games.

I get that, more specifically I was wondering what's special about week 34 as opposed to other weeks? Is it just that more teams have "double headers" than in other weeks? Week 37 is a biggie too.

I have an all out attack, 2 free transfers, and a 106m war chest. To go along with a plummeting morale.

Am I Arsenal?

I'm the defending champion who got off to a terrible start and has now recovered to mid-table obscurity. I'm clearly Chelsea, except that my FPL team couldn't fire me in December.

I'm guessing that everyone in the top 15 or so is playing some variation of the same 15-20 players (Vardy, Mahrez, Kane, Aguero, etc.). I looked at one team that is pretty much the exact same as mine, other than different keepers. Key is going to be who has boosters left, and who grabs the one-two players that no one else is picking (and they actually perform).

I'm 6th, with a very very long shot to go top of table if lighting strikes. Southampton? Sounds about right.

I stopped checking about a month ago I'm in 11th. Probably too far back to win even with a few boosts left.

I've somehow managed to get to 2nd place, despite picking players pretty much on a whim throughout the season. Part of me wants to continue the no research, go with the gut approach for this critical part of the season - why change what has worked? The other side of me says,"you've been very lucky to this point, lazy dumbass, now do the work."

Usually the side that dislikes over-analyzing wins with me, making me somewhat of a circus freak on this website.

I do appreciate the fact that someone pointed out that there is so much doubling up in the next few gameweeks - I may not have noticed that. What I really need to decide now is how many 4 point penalties I'm willing to eat to make extra transfers.

You should definitely make sure you're using your full 3 available spots on Aston Villa players

Got it. Guzan in net, Lescott and the bald guy who used to play for Spurs in the back.

Only -8 for the transfers.

Bold strategy, let's see if it pays off.

Well, shit.

I maybe had a shot to make up 14 points in 2 weeks, but Pig Climbers pulling out the wildcard and picking Carroll for captain pretty much ends it. I've been getting fucked by Chelsea, Liverpool and United all year. Might as well finish with them beating me down with the shovel on a double-game-week, before the official burial next week.

Congratulations!

I royally screwed up my other boosts (triple captaining Lukaku when he earned a total of 2 points in a double gameweek). Hopefully saving the wildcard till now and going with a full team of double gameweek players will build me an insurmountable lead going into the last week.

I did the exact same thing with Lukaku.

And my reverse jinx seems not to be working. I could drop out of the top five this week.

Fantasy Premier League is back!

Not sure who created the our SOSH league last season, but whenever that is renewed I assume we can move to a new thread.

I plan on mounting a much more vigorous title defense than Leicester this season, so you better bring it boys.

I set it up last year. Do folks want to do this again?
