We would like to thank a few more people that we missed above. Every bit of help we've gotten is truly appreciated, whether you've given us a few moments of your time or days of it, every second of effort from you guys has gotten us to this moment. So thank you, everyone, and keep up the great work!

Specifically, JimD, thestardawg, Scoops Bolling, Seabass177, tenspeed99, Tharkin, pegleg, tmmcabe, jippaman, NJ_Sox_Fan, and Sime were missed above. We apologize for that and if we are missing anyone else who has helped out, even for a moment, please reach out and let us know so we can acknowledge your contribution. You are all rock stars!

For the second time in a few months, our community has launched a new site after hundreds of hours of discussion & development. The content up on sonsofsamhorn.com is not only incredible but it barely scratches the surface of what this team has planned and will execute.

It's obvious from the forum that we are the smartest and most passionate fans of our respective teams. The past 15 years have given us the right to say that without sounding like buffoons. This new site will not only give our most passionate and knowledgeable members an outlet but it gives all of us the opportunity to materially drive the collective fandom of the Red Sox in a positive direction. We are the smartest and most passionate fans in baseball and this site is a testament to that. We're looking at extending this lead.

There have been a number of critical people who have not only contributed countless hours, but brought enthusiasm when excitement was wavering. People who had the balls to challenge ideas by smart people (it is safe to say we're the best-vetted baseball site).

We are always looking for great people and great ideas, the snowball is gaining size! As we gain this inertia, we'd love to be further vetted by your feedback and I'm humble enough to admit that we're going nowhere without all of you commenting on and sharing our articles. Please follow our Facebook and Twitter pages!

Probably just me and my archaic company's firewall rules, but while I can get to the SoSH forums just fine, clicking that link got me a Forbidden page saying that Malware had been detected.  Again, not trying to cause a stir and it's probably just on my end, but just wanted to throw it out there in case it might actually be something worth looking into.

The site renders just fine on my Phone.

Just got finished reading the piece on pitch framing. It was really well done. I feel smarter about baseball. Thanks!

I'd like to know which SoSH members wrote which articles but understand if they wish to protect their anonymity.

In the pitching repertoire articles, you may want to add a legend for pitch types, unless it is there and I missed it

The article about Fever Pitch 2... I don't get it.  It seems like it's supposed to maybe in the style of an Onion article, but I don't think it's worthy.  Odd choice for an opening day story.

Otherwise, congratulations to everyone involved.  Good stuff.

It is mentioned, but there is no legend. For instance FS and CH are never explained (I think the first means fastball-sinker?, CH is obviously change).

It's an oblique look at the crappiness that was the 2014 season through a satiric lens of the movie.

So it's funny.

should we update the tabs at the top of the page to also include SOSH baseball? Would allow visitors to easily access the site

Great stuff. I'm especially digging the visualizations with the Fastball and Catcher Framing articles; they really makes the concepts come to life.

Only partially through with the fastball article, but if this is the quality and in-depth writing we can expect, you have a winner.  Really love the storyline that can be found nowhere else.  Fantastic job guys and girls.  Quite impressed!

Those of us on Twitter, let's try to drive some traffic to @SOSHBaseball by tweeting any articles we particularly like. It might be 100 or 1000 or whatever, but that's a great way to get people to check us out-- a particular article with a link that might appeal to your followers.

That's a great way to help, Red. You can also follow our Twitter account @soshbaseball and simply retweet when we link something.

Thank you.

For some reason, the site is blocked from my work computer.  While this may make me more productive, it significantly decreases my morale.

Good afternoon. The site has been live for a little while now and we would like to know what you think. And we want real feedback. You can post in here or you can send one of us a PM or email if you don't feel comfortable posting here.

And a reminder that if you would like to submit a piece to send it to me in a PM or I'll shoot you my email address. As you can see from the content we've posted, we are open to lots of different types of content.

Thanks for your support.

The site is great.

I think, absent bringing The Daily Fin back which was the greatest thing I've witnesses on this site, it would be cool to have a daily game thread round-up in an effort to capture the tenor of the game the evening before and to further connect the message board side to the blog side. All you would need is one of the regular game-threaders to curate the content, pick some of the funny posts and interactions and then also connect game details in real time to reactions. It's sort of like when you see a Twitter reenactment of reactions to an event, it's fun to relive it and feel a part of it.

I still haven't been able to access because for whatever reason I get a malware warning when I click the link. Inside a Pylon works fine.
