I'm not doing records, that's sick, lol

AFC EAST

Jets
Fish
Bills
Pats

Notes: I wish I could buy insurance. I don't gamble but if I did, I might wager $10K on the Jets to miss the playoffs

AFC NORTH

Bengals
Browns
Ravens
Pitt

Notes: Lamar is good but the Ravens lost guys and D coordinator that I like. Close division.

AFC SOUTH

Jags
Houston
Indy
Titans

Notes: I watched the Jets beat the everloving shit out of Houston. We killed those guys. I should probably let it go but I can't get into their darling-hoodness. Good coaching and I loved Stroud coming out but gimme the Jags.

AFC WEST

Chiefs
Chargers
Broncos
Raiders

Notes: I'm a big-time pig time fan of Harbaugh so that might get me in trouble here because the roster is not great. Maybe would hurt me picking over under but not so much here.

Seeds: Seeing it laid out like this, Chiefs should be the one seed. Head and shoulders above the rest of their division, all other divisions are competitive. Jets could go 20-0 though so be on the lookout for that.

Chiefs (1)
Jets
Jags
Bengals
Fish
Browns
Houston

PLAYOFFS???

(2)Jets over Houston
(6)Browns over Jags
(4)Bengals over Fish

(1) Chiefs over Browns
(2) Jets over Bengals

Jets over Chiefs. You know it, I know it, Everybody knows it. They robbed us in the Swift Bowl but we take revenge.

I want to do awards before I move on to NFC:

How many Patriots wins? 0
What week does Drake Maye take over? 9

MVP: AROD
Defensive Player of the Year: SAUCE
Offensive Player of the Year: BREECE
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Dallas Turner

Biggest Surprise Team: Vikings
Biggest Disappointment Team: Bears
First coach fired: Mayo.....j/k sure, D Allen

On to the NFC

NFC EAST

Dallas
Eagles
C-words
Giants

Notes: Eagles thing was very weird last year. Maybe they get it back together.

NFC NORTH

Lions
Vikings
Packers
Bears

Notes: Need to go against chalk somewhere. So much weird with Vikes it could be year from hell but I think they could surprise

NFC SOUTH

Bucs (I go to games 1X a year so why not)
Falcons
Panthers (I was very impressed by what Canales did with Baker; hurts my call for the 1 seed but who cares)
Saints

Notes: Not a ton of confidence in this division.

NFC WEST

Seahawks
Niners
Rams
Cardinals

Notes: fun division, really fun.

Seeds:

Lions
Dallas
Seahawks
Bucs
9ers
Falcons (via week division)
Eagles

(2) Dallas over Eagles (Sal needs this)
(3) Seahawks over Falcons
(5) Niners over Bucs

Lions over 9ers
Dallas over Seahawks

Lions over Dallas (Thanksgiving teams SHOWDOWN)

JESTERS OVER LIONS!!! Bobby Salad gets revenge for his hometown team passing on him

At home
I don't know enough to predict each matchup, but I have to believe that KC is the odds-on favorite to three-peat the SB. Practically the entire team and staff from last year is coming back. The offense didn't lose any firepower, and their young defense could be even stronger than last year. I mean, any given Sunday and all, but... who's in a position to stop them? BAL is in flux, BUF and MIA have yet to take that last step they need, etc. Who's gonna be the team to step up and take it from them?

I don't see Maye getting a start before, maybe.... week 10? unless the OL shows some real improvement before then.

Before responding in outrage, remember that I began this post with the words, "I don't know enough." ;)

That aged poorly.
At least I didn’t pick the Dolphins to win it all…

Late edit: should have added that I hope Tua's OK. But given this latest concussion, I think it is unlikely he will be playing QB for the Dolphins much longer.

Favorite I'll grant you. Odds-on favorite?! I hope for your sake you know enough not to be betting on your NFL predictions...

(FWIW KC were about a 15% chance to win the superbowl coming into the season per Betfair betting exchange)
