I've always been a big Toney fan, but it's time for him to hang up the gloves. Fighters can get old overnight, and I think that's what happened to him. He looked nothing like the Toney who IMO beat Peter 4 months ago. Standing still, not throwing any punches, etc.
The evidence couldn't be any clearer than the 2nd round knockdown. Here's a guy who hasn't been knocked down in 12+ years (and the knockdown by Roy Jones was really a slip) and he's going down from a grazing jab by Peter. I knew right there that something was off.
Toney could still beat some of the scrub heavyweights that are out there, but he can't beat Peter anymore or Wlad, so he should call it quits. You know he won't though.
Also, I thought Billy Blanks was just a fitness advisor. I thought it was pretty funny seeing him holding the spit bucket and trying to dispense strategic advice.
