I finally log back in this morning-and see that the entire site has been completely redesigned.

And I note plenty of posts made when my browser kept insisting that the server was completely down?

And my avatar is no longer visible.

Annnnd I'm the only one who seems to have noticed all of this?

Hit refresh a few times. That either fixes it for awhile, or it doesn’t. If it doesn’t, go away and try again later,

Except that other people are reporting the same issues (someone PM'ed me saying they experienced same), so it likely isn't on my end.

So let me get this straight: some people are saying that their scheme/skin looks like my screenie, others are saying that it doesn't, and that in both cases they haven't changed it years. I don't recall seeing those sideways "G's" before. My avatar setting had been switched to one of those "G's" as well. I cannot find a skin switcher setting in preferences.

We tried to buy that domain back a few years ago and we applied a tertiary dns down the cascade chain. It could still be pointing to the old site but you really shouldn’t be getting that unless your IP address is manifested, which no operating systems really do anymore. What system are you running?

For iOS, yes, for the time being. It’s reliant on tapatalk who are working off an old version.

I've reset the phone and cleared the cache in the app settings but that isn't helping. should I delete the app and redownload it. I had the same issues with Tapatalk on Android that others reported above. Now on the webpage and aside from losing my avatar, all is good. Need fo find that great gif of William Lee one of the mods brilliantly gave me, but even I should be able to find it again. Also have fewer errors from embedded content, so am sticking with what works.

At this time we cannot support the Tapatalk app. I'm not sure if I've been clear enough and I want to make sure that folks' expectations are set because I'd feel bad otherwise. At this moment in time the app is broken. Kaplut. Broken.

In my view the Tapatalk app is a better experience than the mobile browser.

It works just fine (on Android at least) if you clear the cache regularly (I have to do it about once a day now).
