Some great Seattle fan reactions. A few already on here but new ones too. The guy at 1:21 looks ready for the emergency room.

Any video or audio yet from BB's final speech to the team?

I have a big project due Friday, could use it myself.

I don't find Caliendo funny at all.  His impersonations are always completely superficial.  This is no exception.

I'd rather see him impersonate one person well than impersonate twelve people poorly.

I agree.  His John Madden used to be awesome, but it just feels tired now.

NFL Turning Point is on tomorrow night at 11pm (NBC Sports) and Super Bowl Sound F/X (NFL Network) is Thursday at 8pm.  The game itself is on tonight at 8pm (NFL Network)

It's amazing how many fans chant "BEAST MODE" pre-snap. It shows how predictable that offense is. I mean, you can see Seattle fans gasp as soon as Russell drops back.

Also, would you imagine any NE fans gasping at the sight of Brady dropping back to pass, even at the 1? How the fuck did the pundits think Wilson was better than Brady?

The turning point in the game was the Butler interception.

(But they'll probably go with Nink's sack.)

This is a really good point. No one would be saying "why did you let Tom Brady throw the ball from the 1?"

NFL Network is showing the entire Pats season on 30 min game rewind including playoffs and eventually the SB at 8 (full game). Expect they are showing Giants vs. Redskins right now for week 4 instead of the Chiefs ...ha

edit: schedule is wrong, it is the Chiefs game if you want to see where BB says the season turned around.

Gronk:
"I got pushed or something, and it was the last game of the year, and I was like, 'Screw it, I'm throwing some haymakers,'" Gronkowski said Monday night on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

"I don't think I did. Roger, no, I did not," the tight end said with a smile when asked by Kimmel whether he threw punches, referring to commissioner Roger Goodell.

Gronkowski said he did not want the league to fine him, jokingly saying he needed money for an upgraded party bus.

"Roger, that wasn't me," Gronkowski said as video replay of the fight was aired during the interview.

Yeah, that's my favorite view of the play yet.

Meaningless aside, but I noticed that R. Wilson took his helmet off while walking to the bench. Should have off-set the celebration penalty against Browner no? Not sure the exact rule, but pretty sure it doesn't just apply to the happy guy and not the sad guy.

He needs a new boat, a bigger boat. Also changing the name of a boat you have already named is bad luck.

I was shocked NBC didn't have/show a shot of the NE bench erupting, outside of TB12 cam.

I'm hoping all the NFL Films stuff coming soon will have some good shots of it happening, but that video is the only one I've seen thus far.

The cradle of the game.
Another gripe I have with broadcast coverage is the constant audio level checking that goes on. Crowd reaction in this clip really adds to the gravity of what took place.

Russell Wilson took his helmet off.  Why were the Pats penalized but not the Seahawks?

Anybody else feel if the refs weren't in let them play mode for the whole game, there might have been a flag thrown on Butler? Can't tell when the ball gets there, but I'll go watch it again on the HD TV. I mean, there have been so many bad calls this year, a flag there would have been kind of par for the course, albeit wrong.

No, Butler was going for the ball and he is allowed to.  Now he did carom off the receiver on the way to the ball, but his trajectory was not one that suggest that the ball wasn't his primary objective.

No way.  Butler got there first and caught the ball.

Here
That's incidental contact to making a play on the ball, which is expressly in the rules as an example of a play that should not be considered PI.

I know refs take a lot of shit, and everyone has a conspiracy theory, but one of the things I love about this video is just simply watching the refs do their jobs.

You watch them, and it's just another play.  Vinovich keeps his eye on the backfield.  The U gets in there to ensure possession, and then when the change of possession signal is made, the linesmen just start walking the other direction to get ready for the next play.  I especially love the side judge nonchalantly walking up the field to take his spot 20 yards in the other direction.  One of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history, and they couldn't give a shit.  Just get ready for the next play.
