Slow Login with WiFi Enabled

My work laptop takes forever to boot up when I am at home with the WiFi enabled. After entering my network login and password it sits on a white screen for a long time before fully booting. This does not happen at the office. It also doesn't happen if I turn WiFi off on the laptop prior to logging in at home.

I assume this has something to do with security, but is there any way to fix this without toggling the WiFi each time I boot up?

My guess is that it knows it's online and it's looking for the domain controller to authenticate against. Once it can't find it it eventually times out.

Is there a way to remedy this? I desperately need that 60 seconds of surfing time back. [/firstworldproblem]

Thanks...I don't see any event logs with that name. Oh well.
