The Sox are sleepwalking through the last month of the season.

Take a nap guys, and try, just try to put a decent lineup on the field and win.

Meg Ryan has never, ever been my type. But she fit the 90's mold pretty well. Seattle had some good teams back then with ARod and Griffey and Martinez and Randy Johnson too!
I never liked "grunge".... as a genre. I loved Nirvana when they came out though... Mudhoney is okay.... Screaming Trees were decent. Strangely enough I think the band from that area that still holds up the best is The Posies. And they were definitely not grunge. When I think of "grunge" as a sound it's more Pearl Jam, Soundgarden. There was another cool band that showed up towards the end of that time called Violent Green that was pretty good. Definitely more post-punk sound than grunge though.

Here
I'll be at the game tonight. I can't remember being less excited to go to a game. As others have said the Sox never show up in Seattle. The stadium is nice though.

My prediction is that for the second night in a row the Sox won't make me stay up for the entire game.
I just caught the lowlights regarding how they lost that game last night; dribbler down the first base line with two outs that gets butchered into an error, then a bloop, then a blast.........ballgame.

Just awful.

That can't happen.

Just like I can't watch bring myself to watch this potential shitshow tonight, best of luck folks, I'll be with all of you in spirit.

Thinking I might watch tonight's American Horror Story instead of this game.
That's how bad I think this game is going to go.

I have fond memories of the garlic fries and the sake bar. The baseball, not so much.

I had the fried crickets there a couple years ago! Yeah, the Sox lost that night 1-0; Steven Wright pitched a great game but alas; it's Seattle.
