There should be an "Anybody but St. Louis" option.

EDIT: Or the Cubs. Anybody but the Cards or Cubs.

Natstown. If Scherzer returns to form, they have a Big 3 that only rivals Houston. They absolutely have the starting pitching to knock out the Dodgers in a short series.

Mets would be the most fun but it's not happening. Cubs had theirs. St Louis and Dodgers can go F themselves, as can Phillies fans. Brewers and Diamondbacks would be fun but they're not going anywhere.

I voted Braves because at this point I feel like the franchise and fans have earned it.

Nats, just to get over the playoff hex that's been clouding that franchise ever since its early Montreal days.

Otherwise, it'd be nice to the Dodgers get over the hump.

I got the Dodgers. As previous posters have written, they can beat the Yankees and it would be beyond awesome to see Dave Roberts to get a (another) ring. But second is the Brew Crew. Yelich is awesome and I want to see/hear Bob Uecker call it.

Ouch... Yelich is out for the season. Brew Crew's playoff hopes just ended.

Brewers or Mets

Mainly because of dislike for their rivals (Cubs, MFY), I doubt either makes it though. 3rd choice would be Padres if they were good.

From certain playoff teams, probably Braves, especially if vs. MFY or Twins. ( I was a big NL fan growing up in the years Red Sox didnt make playoffs, plus I was dumb and naive and liked the bunting and running)

Wow, that sucks about Yelich. I’d like to see MIL win.

Maybe Atlanta would be my second choice. Not sure on Arizona. I seem to have it in my mind that they’re a bunch of assholes because of something with the Dodgers.

I chose Braves. For selfish reasons, Mets or Phillies just so I could go to a WS game fairly easily - even if it’s not the Sox, I still love going to playoff baseball

If I was new to the game and a "free agent" fan, I could see myself being persuaded by the Braves… they're an interesting and fun team. I've also been to a few Nats games with a friend who was a charter season ticket holder because he grew up on the '60s expansion team, and if Scherzer-Strasburg-Corbin got on a role that would be some good baseball (and something I'd love to see after the past few postseasons have become one bullpen game after another).
