surprised you didn't do anything with Memphis/Orlando.

Those are two teams you've been very vocal about
Not much going on with either team. The Magic kinda shot their load and I’m awaiting a rebound for them. The Grizz I have rated very high but playing back end of B2B on the road I didn’t want to lay 6.5

Played a side in 3 of tonight’s 4 games which is rare.

* Celtics -3
* Rockets +7.5
* Nuggets -6

The first two slightly more than the third.

Edit: I’m very intrigued on 6 games tomorrow. If you can get Miami -1.5 and Sixers -5 now jump on it bc they won’t last.
Herro out for Miami as his girlfriend/baby’s momma may be delivering a week early. This team, as I’ve said many times, struggles badly in creating shots when Herro is out of the lineup so paid juice and bought out +1 the other way.

Lol I literally bet that 3 minutes ago. I guess I should bet it some more.
I maxed it at all but one shops and I’ll come back the other way +9 prior to tip for 25% of play.

Edit: Already moved to 5.5

Hadn't bet basketball forever, but did these cuz YOLO:

76ers -5.5 v. Bulls
Suns +1.5 v. Heat
Lakers +2.5 v. Hawks
Wolves -4.5 v. Clippers (& then added 3 more units in response to your post)
Raptors -3.5 v. Knicks

Has already moved to -5.5 on BetMGM as of a few seconds ago.

Don’t know why this hasn’t hit or books haven’t aggressively news moved but I trust my sources.

Strange market movement as it hit 6.5 once PG announced out along with KL then bought back to 5.5

Ok so I’ll lay my 4 vs Clips w/o them and live with result.

Who had the Hornets (#30 in offense) without Hayward and Oubre dropping 51 in the first Q on the Bucks (#2 in defense) in Milwaukee on their bingo card?

NBA in January……not enough adjectives to describe it sometimes. I’m expecting the Clippers to be up 30 at some point tonight. No I’m not joking I’m already expecting it

Keldon / Vassell / Poetl all OUT for Spurs with a newly motivated Celts team after Mazzulla’s talking to and their romp in Dallas feels like a pretty good play. It is -15 now, but I’m not sure who is going to score for the Spurs with those 3 out. I’m buying 2 points to account for silliness at the end and taking the Celts -13

I passed but am so tempted to take 15.5 pts with the home team. I’ll be looking for live spot early to see if anyone bothers defending the other. It feels like a stat-passing game that would rival a G-League affair to me.

I did play Utah -1.5 and Under 223 in Mavs/Pels.

Lock in some savings.Take your money out and leave a little for the next run.
Oh I already did. In a few weeks/months I’ll ask my DK rep for a deposit bonus or loss insurance to get me to deposit again. This ain’t my first rodeo in gambling or risk management!
Btw - I just used 1/6 of the winnings to buy courtside seats next to the Celtics bench for a game in Feb for me and my brother. My rule for gambling is if you win you need to redeploy part of it on experiences, to benefit you and those around you, but also to remind myself this is real money that needs to be risk managed accordingly.

So as to not bump this for a bragging session, I’d say I would be betting Tor -3 tonight. And there are two afternoon games today, INCLUDING a west coast team (Por) who just so happened to lose in Minny on Wednesday… and to Indy on Friday…. Then travelled to Toronto to play an afternoon game today. I’d be all over Tor -3 and the under 226.5. Those are good outright and as a parlay.

Congrats on leveraging the winnings for cool seats!

I was staring real hard at that 76ers Under 229.5 due to the afternoon tip and hoping Philly slows the game down as a result, but Philly has been playing games that are all O130 recently and Detroit is right there with them.

As HRB said the other day, January is inexplicable!

Hit Toronto ML and the -3/U226.5 parlay. Thanks Red!

was debating this game before tip, then saw your post combined with the first Q going wild so bought in at U241.
Yeah, the teams are a combined 18-30 from 3 pt, with four min left in the first half. Going to need some serious mean reversion in the 2nd half…

And the reversion happened… nice win on your 2nd half. Unfortunately my pre-game under lost with -2 seconds left as OKc decided to take a useless layup instead of running out the clock. Oh well, didn’t think that had a shot of winning after the first 16 minutes. Still a good day overall.

Not that this will feel better but my buddy sent me this earlier. He had Arizona St -8.5 and this is truly incredible.

Is this Noah Williams guy entering the draft this year? Maybe we should keep an eye on him.

Appreciate the kind words. This is the portion of the season where I cut WAY back on my NBA wagering. I fire hard early and fire hard in the playoffs……this part of the season is a lot of guesswork, spending a ton of time on injury news that may or may not be relevant and even when it is many times it isn’t in this league…..perfect example was yesterday with Klay never hitting the injury report prior to him walking to the bench at opening tip in street clothes (Shit like this is common in the NBA dog days). I’ll monitor the big picture and jump back in hard when I’m more comfortable with my reads. My numbers are my numbers but my reads are the bread and butter. I’ll still post my strong stuff but will be much more selective. Having said that, for Monday I did play……

* Sacramento -6

I’ve never done anything but tread water from Jan-April consistently so I’ll dedicate more of my time to poker this part of the year and significantly reduce my NBA volume. One thing I’m very confident in is that we’ll crush NBA playoffs again.

Monday: This is the time of year I cut way back on NBA.

Tuesday: Hey I’ve got another good one!!

* Under 223 Thunder/Heat

No Herro, No Bam, No offense. Don’t mind Thunder +2.5 for a sprinkle either but the Under is my play here.

I was considering that game plus the Over in the Utah/Cle game (O227.5), the Over in Magic/Blazers game. (O229.5), and potentially Under in Clips/Mavs (U222).

As usual potential sit outs and injuries galore though.

Pretty sure Turner was a non-injury report game time scratch tonight. This is the shit I’m talking about that begins happening this time of year if anyone can confirm. Busy in a sicko poker game

Dude just randomly had back spasms prior to tip off with zero symptoms leading up to it? All week we’ve seen game time scratches who weren’t on injury report. Klay the other night, there was another can’t think off the top of my head.

Anyway, looking at something for tomorrow…..along with the next couple weeks.

* Kyrie Over Points…..I think any total lower than 33 is good value. He’s really going to be asked to carry this team offensively. Between Simmons acting in more of a facilitator role under Vaughn (what Nash did to him was borderline criminal), Kyrie’s ability to create good looks regardless of defender and the Celtics maybe being without Smart or at least a less than 100% Smart…..I expect 35+ easily out of Kyrie tomorrow night.

We’ve caught several players going on Scoring Over runs as their Usage increased due to injuries and Kyrie is primed to be one of them in good spots…..tomorrow is one of those spots. One thing to watch for with Kyrie however is on the back end of B2B’s where he has historically struggled relative to his non-B2B offensive awesomeness. Circle 1/20 in Utah and 1/26 vs Detroit as two potential fades of his over (which by then should be jacked up after a bunch of big games)……the former at altitude on the back end and the latter in a game he figures to go through the motions. Maybe look at Cam Thomas’ usage to increase in those games but he’s a guy to watch in Durant’s absence anyway.

Something weird going on in Celtics/Nets with group coming in on Brooklyn. It may be a C’s injury not yet public unsure at this time but likely as the Under was also hit. Pure guess on the movement but this is about what Jaylen’s value would be to the line and total.

Yup. Horford OUT (expected) but Jaylen downgraded to Questionable/Game-Time Decision which sounds like it’s shaded to him sitting.
