Kings yesterday were +36 in 32 DFox minutes & -18 in 16 non-DFox minutes.

It's weird for the Kings to have a roster that actually makes sense.

Had control most of the way. Nets 14-0 run to end the 3Q changed the game. Part of me wants to kick myself bc I know how NBA teams respond to embarassing blowouts but the other recognizes that I understood this as part of my cap. At least I got some back with the Under……thought that was heading to OT for sure.
Yeah, shit happens. The Blazers were 6-26 (26%) from the field in the 4th. I think they had 2 FGs in the first 8 min of the 4th. They just went dead cold — and still almost pulled it off. It was a good bet.

It’s admittedly been really difficult to re-program my brain on them to remove prior biases. Ditto for OKC.

In the mood for a little degen action while I watch the Celtics tonight, put some beer money on Jonas Valanciunas over 0.5 threes at +145 and Herb Jones over 0.5 threes at -105. Figure it'll be a quick pace and with Zion out there should definitely be some spots for those guys to jack up a three or two.

You looked a little lonely over there in the corner so I’m in…

You guys are such degens. Here’s a real good one for you that I will be have to be careful not to be overleveraged on.

* Wolves -1
* Sixers Under TT 110.5

Minny has gotten it together recently after a 5-8 start. Two days rest to face a Sixers team off an emotional win where they rode Embiid hard on both ends for 37 min. Unlike his most recent B2B when he controlled the tempo of the game to score on Olynyk over and over and over….he won’t have those clean easy looks with Gobert in the paint. Sixers also lost Maxey last night who joins Harden on the bench.

I have no idea where they get their offense from tonight especially when Embiid is on the bench so if you are feeling funky you can also comfortably play Wolves 2Q ML or Sixers 2U TT Under. I can see the first 6 min of that quarter being 20-5 or a number that begins to separate the teams.

Edit: In the time it took to write this the Wolves moved to -2 and it isn’t even 9am. Also, like Nurse with VanVleet the other night, there is a greater than zero chance that Doc sits Embiid with two more B2B coming up for them next week. I like me some free load management equity too.

Game went from Sixers -1 overnight to Wolves now -3 with no signs of slowing down. Total from 224 open down to 217 now.

Sixers TT from 110.5 to 107.5 which I still like tons at that number.

Late 2Q rally by Sixers will keep the Wolves engaged. I’m played Wolves 2H +1.5 and also Pk at +110 money. The 3Q should be all Minny here.

Good hit HRB. Some of us who got in late not so lucky o_O
Damn I hate that. The Wolves are gonna Wolve. They had a 4Q stretch of 11 possessions over halfcourt that resulted in 0-7 FG and 6 TO. The worst part is that those numbers do not do the eyeballs justice……it was like watching a middle school team trying to figure out what to do. KAT was often in the middle of it and the worst offender.

The Wolves going ice cold bailed me out of a half time U223.5 bet. I hit Wolves -2 and 2Q ML. Lost on 2Q race to 10 and 15.

HRB on a real burner. What’s next?

Not much on sides. Don’t want to lay 10 with the Kings in a flat spot (and don’t want to get in front of a train), could maybe take 10 with the Rockets but that could be very not fun even with the Warriors 0-8 on the road, unsure of what to make of the Grizz without Ja and Bane while getting JJJ back but that’s a good Nets fade so have to consider Memphis +7.5

Two totals I’m looking at. Lakers/Spurs will be OTB until there is LeBron/AD certainty. I’m hoping for no LeBron and a total that’s no higher than 225.…..if I get this I’ll be playing Over good as I’m over 230. I’ll play it normal up to 228 but only w/o LBJ. The other is Under 233 in Kings/Pistons. I think the Kings win their 9th out of last 11 here but after avg 130 ppg in their last 5 wins they have their bags packed for a road trip and expect a more sluggish effort in a mid-afternoon game. I expected number to be 229 or so.

Having Wolves -2 and Sixers U212.5 made for an exciting finish. The Sixers last second bucket in the 2nd quarter took out my under for them by .5 unfortunately.

The bet that has been printing money since you mentioned it in relation to Dame being out is Simons over in points, even with Dame back. It seems like he’s getting a line of 20.5-21.5 most nights.

Dame left last nights game early Q3 with his calf again so get ready to line up those Simons overs are least for the next several games.

Got one good one for tonight. All those who complained of the pain they withstood to root for the Knicks last week on their way to the ticket window will surely be pleased too. :)

Played OKC -2 as they return home after a successful short road trip (2-2) when they got Giddey back and are playing well. As I’ve been preaching….look to play on teams at start of their long road trips and against them on the back end (NY lost last two by double digits). NY finishes up the end of a brutal stretch with their 5th road game in 7 days while already brig their 12th games of the month. I expected -4.5 or so and am happy to lay the 2.

I’m in for a little Simons over 23.5 at -130.
Gold!

I found Pacheco in KC in a similar spot but his number may be blowing up now after a 100-yr game (total was 54.5) and Helaire leaving last nights Chiefs game with an ankle.

Cryptic message of the day:

Sacramento begins a long road trip today.
Fox tried as hard as he could to win, lose, win, lose, win and then lose tonight’s game……but in the end the Kings are simply too much. I freakin love this team but they have been performing at their peak and are primed for a downswing on this road trip. It shouod begin as early as tomorrow night in Atlanta and Friday in Boston. Already clicked some Hawks -6.

Edit: I may do some write ups tomorrow. There are 4-5 games that are jumping off the screen if the numbers come out where I think they will, lineups intact, injuries, etc

Brooklyn +1.5
Atlanta -6

These are my 3 that jump off the page for sure if I don’t get to write ups.

For some reason I'm tempted by 76ers +5.5 now that it's moved that far already lol

Trying to pick a 5th game. Don't really like any of them that much, but prefer betting on an odd # of games for entertainment purposes.

So far have...

Pistons +11.5
Heat -1.5
Nets +2.5
Hawks - 5.5

Mavs +4.5. They always play us tough and could win outright.

It's true, Mavs have won the last 4. I kinda hate betting for or against the Celtics (unless they're heavy favorites then I can get a mental middle).

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

I wasn’t able to do any write ups bc our AC went down which is never good in South Florida. Slept about 3 hours then was in great shape in a poker tournament until that also went horribly wrong.

On the bright side all 3 games played out pretty much as I capped. Sixers couldn’t score consistently enough on a shorthanded backend of a B2B, the Kings who were sitting on a loss got that loss, and the entire Brooklyn team came out of the gates with a sense of urgency and rebounded after going through the motions the previous night vs Philly. If only they were all this easy every night.

Sidenote: Thought of the Port Cellar last night when I ran into Tom Burleson (you old guys know who he is, if not then Google). He’s an avid recreational poker player who is in Vegas for WSOP each year as well.
Too narrow of a middle. I'll take 4-0 with no real sweats & an ez Celtics win, though.

Happy Thanksgiving all!
Meh yeah, settling for 4-0. I guess that’s ok. ;)

I expect the Celtics to beat the Kings every which way tonight. I’m confidently laying the -7.5 and probably having some 1H as well. For those with access to Winning Margin bets I’d look at the 17-20 and 21+ numbers to play each accordingly.

Looking at Brooklyn and Orlando some but not close to the level of Boston here.

Edit: Also considering Spurs. Probably always good to fade Lakers as road chalk.

Speaking of home/road, the Dubs are 8-1 at home and 1-9 on the road. SSS and all but that’s a pretty insane split for a good team.

They got their win to begin this trip. LFG C’s!!!!

Being completely unbiased when it comes to wagering on Celtics games it’s nice when you’re on them……now get the job done for a double win! (Bankroll AND Heart!)

Kings getting way more out of their bench than I expected. Huerter and Murray with clunkers but being picked up by Mitchell, Monk and Okpala.

No Davis and LeBron presumably with a minites restriction coupled with NBA zig-zag game.
I mostly meant why it moved so close to gametime. I assumed LeBron/AD potentially being out & being restricted was already factored into the +2.5 from an hour earlier.

Game was 8pm and Davis was officially listed as questionable when daily report came out. My betting group thread got word he was officially out at 6:20pm. It must have hit the wires at that time or very shortly thereafter bc number flipped at 6:37pm.

Warriors slept well last night apparently. Good lord, that quarter was lights out.
