I wanted to post a link to a well-written article about Aaron Hernandez's brother, but I became even more interested in the fact that there is no thread here about SI.com. Crazy. What used to be the bible of sports journalism has become an internet backwater. The link to the story is:

The site recently underwent a long overdue redesign. Looks to be running okay now but the SI.com I remember was damn-near unusable, which I assume contributed to the bolded. I don't know if it was a better experience on mobile or something but I would inevitably X out of any article rather than wait minutes for the page to load.

Yeah that place was brutal for a while. Have t been on it other than mobile for a long time, but the full site was terrible. I miss the old Sporting News more than SI though.

For anyone interested in good analysis on this year's HOF candidates, Jay Jaffe has been consistently pumping out great content this month. He doesn't get the profile of Pos or Keri, but he consistently puts out excellent baseball work, even in the offseason. This breakdown on McGwire was as level headed as anything I've read on his candidacy.
