Another deep, deep home run to LF in Rogers.

I like Adam Dunn against righties, as does Billy Beane and don't care about the minimal difference in defensive ability between Dunn/Gomes. They're both horrific defensive OF's, arguing who sucks less is silly IMO.
Here are the facts. A Gomes/Dunn platoon, the exact platoon I recommended when the Sox were 6-7 games out of first place months ago, is the same platoon that arguably the best GM in the sport opted to go with for his stretch run.

Doolittle's injury is killing them; also they can't score. But no one expected them to score today against Sale.MakMan44 said:It's like watching a car wreck at this point. You want to look away, but you can't.

Can't you tell us, or would it suffer if we don't get it from the source? That's why we read here. Back from a long driving trip and tired and lazy.E5 Yaz said:Check out how KC tied and won the game Monday night over the White Sox

EDIT: Double checked, yeah that's supposedly what happened.

Two out, Royals down 3-2, Dyson on second. He takes off with the pitch, which hit the plate and bounces away at a crazy angle allowing Dyson to score the tying run with a head first slide.
Aoki doubles, Gore pinch runs.
Gore then breaks for third, Cain hits a chopper that shorthops Ramirez and Gore scores the winning run from second.
