6:00 am started baseball for me today. Unfortunately it’s Matt V and A-Rod on ESPN.

My rooting order: Dodgers, Brewers, Padres, Marlins, Reds, Cubs, Atlanta, Cardinals.

I play tennis with a bunch of Dodgers fans, or did and will, and I'm rooting for Mookie and Dave Roberts.

For those that have an ESPN+ account, they're doing something called "Squeeze Play" that is showing all the games (except the TBS game, presumably) Red Zone style. This might be the first and only time the Disney/Hulu/ESPN bundle is paying off for me on the ESPN side.

Thank you - this is great. I have ESPN+, though rarely use it.

Twins have zero shot of ever winning a playoff game again - amazing.

Thanks for the heads up, I didn't realize that was going on. And I, like you, will finally being using an ESPN+ feature

Max Fried pitched his ass off today. Trevor Bauer is pretty much unhittable. What a great pitchers duel! Loving it.

Trevor Bauer, with his unorthodox training methods and analytical approach to pitching, reminds me of golf’s Bryson DeChambeau.

So we're not doing that stupid runner on second base to start extra innings.

Bauer the first pitcher in postseason history to go 7 and 2/3 with 0 runs, 0 walks, and 12 K's

White Sox and Padres will be my AL and NL team's respectively. There are some fun teams in the playoffs with some tortured fanbases. Really anyone except the Yankees and Cardinals would be champions I'd support. Yankees for obvious reasons, Cardinals I've just never liked their fanbase even if the organization has been extremely well-run and they are always competitive. It would be kind of disappointing to see them KO San Diego in the first round.

I used to dislike the Dodgers (I hate all LA teams) but Mookie has allowed me to be okay with them winning.

Twice in two innings Twins get robbed of a walk by a bad call. Ump tosses Rosario for getting upset after striking out. He didn't even say anything to the ump after the K. Fucking umps.

Acuna popping up on 3-0 as the leadoff runner in the bottom of the 11th is not ideal.

I'm really surprised that it's starting to look like the Twins might be the first team eliminated from a 16-team field.

It sucks that the Red Sox aren’t in, but it’s almost a blessing in disguise because there’s a handful of teams that are fun to follow/root for, especially ones that haven’t been in the playoffs for a while. As long As the Yanks lose, I’m pretty much ok.

AND AGAIN! They called Altuve safe when he was clearly out at first!

Keuchel getting shelled, 4-0 in the 2nd after a 2 run HR by Semien. The first two runs were unearned but he's given up five hits in the first two innings already.

Crazy that Matzek had been out of baseball since 2015. Reds really blowing some good opportunities.

Twins gotta Twin. Holy shit.
Yeah.

In the playoffs they turn into a AAA team. Not sure what the deal is, but it's there.

I don't know if they need some playoff experience or better clubhouse leadership or what. But this is ridiculous. Beginning to wonder if Baldelli is actually a liability.

Red Sox have never played the Twins in the post-season. Maybe when they finally do the Twins will get a win.
