Perhaps this is a first guess and doesn't belong in this thread, but reports are Pedroia wants to play tomorrow.  Should he go right back into the 2-hole or would he and the team be better off if he hits 7th or 8th for the time being?  Basically, I love the idea of keeping Bogaerts at the top of the lineup, and moving Pedroia down until he's healthy and raking again seems like a good way to accomplish that.

With Nap out presumably, I wouldn't be surprised to see Pedroia batting cleanup, leaving X in the 2-hole.  Hels maintain the LRLR pattern that Farrell (like Tito before him) seems to prefer.

Any news on Vic's return?

Mike Carp is significantly better against left handed pitching than Daniel Nava, and I can't imagine there is a meaningful difference defensively. Is Carp still hurting?

Miami (oh, Miami!)
Mujica as closer. . .I'm not feeling the love.

Can't Farrell just relegate the guy to lower leverage situations until he gets some consistency?

Koji's back today, so for the time being, crisis over.

Um. Why is Herrera hitting and Sizemore running?

Edit: Squeeze play. Interesting choice.
