What is Raul Ibanez's capacity on the Royals?  He's a player, but not on the roster, right?  Why is he in the dugout.  Did he retire and get made some sort of coach, or are nonroster players on the team permitted to just hang out in the dug out?
Reminds me a bit of Ellis Burks in 04, actually.

All righty then. I picked the Giants in 7. I am pulling for them. I'm not married to that pick.

However, I am married to my wife and she is a Giants fan. So there's that. She was a good sport last year when the Sox were in San Fran and I dragged her to all the games when she could have been shopping. She let me get a little crazy during the WS last year. God bless her and the things she does for me and to me.

This "All About the Bass" thing they made these people do is awful and the most humiliating thing Fox could have possibly come up with.

By the way, I am home sick and currently in the midst of that boiling hot/freezing feeling that you can get. I'm skipping a viewing party.

Looks like I'll be in here a lot.

Ok, my analysis.  At some point in this series, the Royals are going to realize, "holy shit, we're still the Royals."  Someone is either going to step up in a major way and overcome whatever adversity they are facing at that moment with a Papi-like flair for drama, or from that point forward they are going to get rolled.

I took this 1 month ago in the midst of a super tight pennant race.  Others have said it's typically better.  I want to be on the KC bandwagon, but I just can't shake the feeling of being utterly unimpressed by the fans when I was there.
These people were *great* fans through the 80's.  Go back and look at the AL attendance numbers from the early 70's to the mid to late 80's.  They were consistently outdrawing much larger markets.   They've had David Glass as an owner.  Think Jeremy Jacobs but not quite so easy with a buck.  They deserve some slack.

“@AlexPavlovic: Lincecum is definitely here, I saw him during BP. But he didn't go out to bullpen with other relievers. Nobody seems to know why.”

Forgive me please, why is this news?  Is he on the WS Roster?

The Giants often send guys from the dugout to the bullpen mid-game to start warming up. Of course, their BP at AT&T is just down the line from the dugout.

Yes, he is. It's news because he's a reliever who isn't in the bullpen, for some reason.
He can sit wherever he wants realistically.  Pen, dugout, locker room.  It's unlikely he's gonna pitch though.  Hasn't pitched since the last day of the regular season. Apparently it's a promise Bochy said he was going to do was keep Timmy on the roster.
