This should be pinned somewhere.Speak for yourself I’m mad at every loss I’ve witnessed in 36 years, and each one is worse than the last.
Sixers going to get a lot more rest the then the Celts now thoExactly. Hawks have made tough shots. Celtics have been dog shit…and it’s still a close game.
Just one loss. Series will still be over in 5
Yup, the rebounding did them in tonight. Hawks attempted just as many FG attempts despite 6 more turnovers.Hawks outrebounding C's 47-29.
Maybe they mean "Most Variable Player"?An MVP chant for Trae Young is the official death knell of the MVP chant
Maybe. Doesn’t really matter too much to me. I think the Celtics are a superior team to the Sixers by a decent amountSixers going to get a lot more rest the then the Celts now tho
Rebounding disparity too.Its hard to overcome an opponent shooting 56% shooting from the field and 44% from deep.
Most Vulnerable PelageMaybe they mean "Most Variable Player"?
The only thing that has changed is I don’t cry and run upstairs to play video games anymore. This should be pinned somewhere.
So the video game console is downstairs now?The only thing that has changed is I don’t cry and run upstairs to play video games anymore.
Not 100% sure it was passivity versus Atl unlocking something that really worked for them. Seemed like they really exploited Al early and late. There was a lot of good shotmaking by Atlanta but it started with the Celtics playing no defense whatsoever in the first half and really letting them get going. Very passive defensive game thinking they could roll. Despite some poor possessions the offense was fine though Jaylen was a bit of a nonentity tonight. I get in Marcus’s case but the defense and rebounding are way way more to blame.
Good wake up call.
Problem is he went I believe 4-4 on his first 3's then 1-8 after. I was thinking early in the game it's usually not great when Marcus starts hot because he's not going to stop shooting like he's still hotweird complaint in a game where he was very efficient
Coupled with seeing Grant and Hauser in together early, it sure seemed like Coach Joe was trying something out.Young and Murray 57, White and Brown 26.
Goodnight
The switchingest defensive team in the league, possibly of all time, decided to play drop coverage all game, and gives up 130 points on 56/44% shooting. Easy floaters and forays to the rim, plus wide open threes.
Boston had ZERO blocked shots, after blocking 12 shots in game two and seven in game one.
No but outside of injuries or bad reffing, the team’s major vulnerability the past few years is taking their foot off the gas. I’m not sure that’s what happened tonight but I’m honestly not sure WTF happened tonight.I am almost never this person, I think it’s appropriate to complain if there’s a loss or if something could be going wrong in the future, but….other than Smart possibly hurting his back, does anyone who watched this game really think there’s a chance in hell of the Hawks winning this series? Shit, how about a chance of reaching game 7?
probably says more about Brown going MIAweird complaint in a game where he was very efficient
Mostly yes but partly no, with the early threes falling the Cs got into some lazy habits with White, Brogdon, etc driving the lane with 3 Hawks close in and the other 4 Cs hanging on the perimeter. Once they missed these contested drives with no weak side teammate to clean it up, this led to very few offensive rebounds and clean run outs for the Hawks. They settled for some lazy 3s, but It wasn't the offense tonight.
I'm dying...................“Trae, first playoff win for you and Dejounte together. Your hair looks like Larry David’s and he’s about 40 years older than you. Have you considered cutting your hair or do you like looking like a mental patient?”
It looks like doll hair.I'm dying...................
I thought it was just me; his moss is fucking bizarre looking, weirdest head of hair I've ever seen, a lot going on there, the only thing that can explain it is it actually is tree moss.
I am not worried at all, even if Atlanta wins game 4. But many people expected Atlanta to win a game this series, and game 3 makes the most sense to be that game. Let's see if game 3 was Atlanta actually finding a weakness in Boston that the Celtics can't fix, or if it was just one of those games that superior teams often have in the playoffs - having an off night while the inferior team wins game 3 at home on the way to a gentleman's sweep.I am almost never this person, I think it’s appropriate to complain if there’s a loss or if something could be going wrong in the future, but….other than Smart possibly hurting his back, does anyone who watched this game really think there’s a chance in hell of the Hawks winning this series? Given how poorly Atlanta shoots typically.. I would assume they never hit that many shots again. Boston contested a lot of those shots.. Atlanta players just hit everything. And the Celts were still within three late in the fourth quarter.I am not worried at all, even if Atlanta wins game 4. With Embiid seriously injured, they need to put this shit to bed ASAP.I am almost never this person, I think it’s appropriate to complain if there’s a loss or if something could be going wrong in the future, but….other than Smart possibly hurting his back, does anyone who watched this game really think there’s a chance in hell of the Hawks winning this series?
