I’m a little behind, but obvious high stick on that goal should negate the assist the stripes would get with that fucking horseshit interference call.

Eat a bag of glitter dicks PK, FFS, you are not on a Toronto based broadcast, you’re on a “neutral” sports network. Clown

I know it doesn't matter, but since my glove looks like the same model as Ully's and it was about 5 feet from my couch, I measured the pocket and went back to watch the position of Ully's glove on the no goal. I can say fairly confidently that it was a goal haha

As a casual fan who mostly watches the playoffs, is the TV production this terrible all season? The animated advertisements on the boards are plain annoying and sometimes cause me to lose track of the puck. The player names popping up during power plays obscures the action and is yet another distraction. The camera then will cut to a zoomed in angles which feels like momentary motion sickness. Why can't they just let us watch the game???

Does it matter which way the puck is oriented?

The animated side boards take some time to adjust to. I don’t even notice them anymore. The “player bubbles” are an abomination and annoying as hell and should be abolished. In terms of camera choices. It’s a fast game and I tend to give them a break on camera switches, but I watch a lot of hockey so I get used to that as well.

Lindholm looks pretty rough this game. Definitely anticipating contact on the forecheck and panicking a bit.

Na, it got deep into the deepest part of the web which is at least 6 inches, the edge of his glove was behind the post. Cleared by at least an inch, maybe 2
Would be a great intermission demo on TV. But that would take away time from screaming nonsense.

Question for the group, should Shattenkirk have gone for the block on Tavares’ shot, or is that Ullmark’s to get since it’s a Penalty Kill situation?

Yeah but you couldn't see the puck. It was most likely deep in the pocket inside but you can't prove it.

Tired of the way the refs try to even up a game
The problem is that leagues don't actually want refs to call the rule book to the letter... so that leads to a ton of "it's a penalty, but it's not".... so Refs find themselves in a place of calling "balance out stuff"... cause you really can't pick and choose without causing problems... now there is an argument whether calling the rulebook would be right, but we clearly see how often refs often refuse to call a second penalty during a PP unless it's truly beyond the pale...
