Yeah, at first I thought it was going to be a pitching duel but now it's just a slug-fest.What a helluva game!!!!
NY has the 8th best record in MLB, 5th in the AL East (barely). It must have happened before (right?) but does anyone remember a team 5 games over .500 being in last place in the wild card era? Or any mlb era
Gonna be a lot more coming, unfortunately.

I mean, that's a pretty small sample size, especially since it was 8 of 13 before the grand slam yesterday. More relevantly, they had almost no one in the bullpen available yesterday who was any good. Most importantly, Boone and whoever else is making the calls there are absolutely horrible at managing a bullpen. With that above stat, I'm curious why the Yankees would bring him in with the bases loaded? He obviously pitches better with a clean inning.
I saw. And immediately vomited.I recommend Yankee fans not even look at the two lineups today, between that and the two pitchers, this is as much of a giveaway game as NY will ever have.
Mr. Calhoun has answered your post.As much as I hate JoDo and his noodle bat, I'd rather watch him than Willie freaking Calhoun.
Forgot the game had started and just caught up. Hilarious.Mr. Calhoun has answered your post.

But if they were stolen due to a non-electronic step in the process, what is the issue? Non-electronic sign stealing is the status quo, rightIs the catcher calling the pitches with PitchCon? Or does the bench call them directly? Or use signals to the catcher who uses the buttons?
if the latter, I can see how signs can still be stolen. IIRc, not many catchers call their own games
I don't think there's time for the bench to be involved anymore, and I think Middlebrooks would have broached that in his Twitter posts about this if it was a possibility, I think it's just the catcher or pitcher (it can go both ways as of this year). Is the catcher calling the pitches with PitchCon? Or does the bench call them directly? Or use signals to the catcher who uses the buttons?

And they appear to be right. German caught cheating again? Here we go. Jays definitely think the Yankee are up to something.
