Keep your fingers crossed about this road trip to Florida in light of all this new data about Covid-19 infection even in vaccinated people. Virtually every Florida county has a test posivity rate between 16 and 18%. The state had over 16,000 new cases yesterday, 20X the number of Massachusetts with only 3X the population. I really don't have any idea how careful they are on these road trips, but road trips involve hotels, restaurants, elevators, and bus trips. I don't know which players and coaches remain unvaccinated besides JD, but clearly even vaccinated people are testing positive with this variant.
This Delta variant turns just about every infected individual into what we used to call a super spreader.
