BOSTON, MA- The Red Sox today announced plans to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the 2013 Boston Marathon with special events and pregame ceremonies during the four-game series against the American League West Anaheim Angels at Fenway Park that will include participation from members of the

2013 Red Sox World Series Championship team.

To mark the 10-year milestone, on Friday, April 14, the Red Sox, in partnership with JetBlue, will distribute over 40,000 blue and yellow Red Sox City Connect hats to Boston Public Schools students and staff at 104 elementary and middle schools across the City of Boston. Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez will join members of the club to distribute hats at the James F. Condon School in South Boston that morning. Additional details for coverage of the event taking place at the Condon school will be communicated in the coming days.

The team will wear blue and yellow City Connect jerseys during Friday night's 7:10 p.m. game against the Angels, the only time the team will visit Fenway Park this season.

On Saturday, April 15, members of the 2013 Red Sox team will join city and state officials, first responders, hospital leaders, B.A.A. leadership, and local running groups at the Boston Marathon Finish Line for the ringing of the bells and the unveiling of a One Boston Day marker on Boylston Street at 2:30 p.m.

The number 42 will be on the back of the home white jerseys to mark Jackie Robinson Day.

On Saturday night, Hall of Famer David Ortiz will receive the Patriots' Award at B.A.A. Gives Back, an annual event dedicated to raising support for the B.A.A.'s community initiatives, presented by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.
On Sunday, April 16, a reunion of members of the 2013 Red Sox World Series Championship team will take place during pregame ceremonies before the 1:35 p.m. game against the Angels. Can they move the Saturday game up to 1PM so not have their thunder stolen by the Celtics?

Let the people who have purchased tickets attend at the expected time and check out of the C's game around half time to see the pregame ceremonies.
Valid point.

Then move the ceremony to Friday 5:30 or something.

What time will I have to be in my seats to avoid listening to the Zac Brown Band on Sunday?

Can they finally add some borders to the lettering on the Boston home whites so they look less like an arts & crafts job?
