I didn't get to watch because my daughter had a band thing, but just watched the 4 Bergy goals, and the Wings should give him a bonus paycheck because he gave them four different Master Classes in how to be a hockey player. Good lord.

Great night for HOF 37. Now Pasta needs to get going.
It's not going in for him, but he's been fine. Heeled the one timer with an open net last night, and has passed in some obvious "shoot the fucking puck, Pasta" situations which I think is due to some frustration over the puck not going in for him, but overall his game is there. His underlying numbers are right there with his career numbers. He's leading the team in ixG/60, and his shot and chances rates are excellent. He's shooting 6% in the early going and is a career 14% shooter. Getting the same number of shots and chances as he always had, there should be a positive regression at some point. Toronto is a team he's had some fun with in the past, maybe it'll come Saturday night.

Goal 1: Marchand by the goal line, passes to Bergeron in the glove-side face-off circle, goal.
Goal 2: Marchand below the goal line, passes to Bergeron in the glove-side face-off circle, goal.
Goal 3: Marchand by the dot, passes to Bergeron in the glove-side face-off circle, goal.
Goal 4: Marchand enters the zone, passes across to Bergeron in the glove-side face-off circle, goal.

Pasta is being over-played hard. Bergeron found the seam in their over-coverage of him last night and scored 4 goals from basically the same spot on ice. This will cause the correction that will free up Pasta for some better looks.
