I think Sandy Leon has brought me more anger and sadness than any Red Sox player in my life. He hasn’t had a wRC+ over 66 in three years and the two pitchers he’s supposed to make great have been two of the most egregious under performers. Why the fuck is he on the team

Leon is a free out. Moreland vs lefties is close to a free out. The guy who could have done damage hits a missile right at 3rd. Shit luck.

Just checking on Gameday, but what did Chavis and Moreland do there? Other teams (see Oakland) seem to be able to hit sac flies.

Relative to expectations and salary they were of course worse but in terms of exclusively what they did on the field Sandy is more painful to watch, especially because we only had to watch one+ years of suck from those two and this is the third straight of Sandy. If you include salary both are worse

Where are all those folks who want to give JD a 5/150 extension?

The wrong side of the bridge....
Mookie is in a bit of a defensive slump, it seems. I was at the park last night, and although Kiermaier's triple was crushed and maybe not catchable, he looked kind of confused on it. And he didn't look too sharp on that last one, either.

I find myself missing Hector Velazquez. Can we just cut this loser and cut our losses?
