Yeah, I don’t have many glare issues with my LG OLED, but in fairness, the QN90C gets like twice as bright as the C2 and C3. So maybe it’s a matter of fighting glare with brightness (or ambient light in general)?

Good haul, nonetheless!

I figure I'll see which one I like better and watch TV in that room more often. I'm sure that they'll both be yuge steps up from my current Sharp LCD.

I really don't get the LG glare comments. I've said it multiple times in this thread, but ours is in a room that 60% large windows and it's never an issue. I"m sure you'll be happy with all them.
I get a lot of glare on my CX but honestly, on the rare occasion you get to watch TV during the day, we usually close the blinds and if we didn't, it wouldn't be the worst.

I need to get two tvs for my office - a 50” model and a 55” model. Don’t need anything fancy but also don’t want anything that is a piece of crap. Would like to spend less than $1000 total if possible. Any suggestions? I’ve looked at Costco and on Amazon and every option I find has shitty reviews.

Both TVs will be mounted on the wall and connected to YouTube TV.

For each, you can click the price range you want (mid-range / budget / cheap) and see what your tradeoffs are.

I just picked up a 70" Samsung to replace my old Vizio 70". Took the Vizio off the wall, and then opened the Samsung box. Get this, the Samsung doesn't include ANY screws for wall mounting, and the Vizio's screws are a smaller diameter. I am SO tempted to return the Samsung after all this grunt work for nothing.

This was also the case with a 42" LG I mounted for someone a few weeks ago (no screws). I had her buy a VESA hardware kit from amazon for $5-10, because the mount/bracket kit didn't have them in it either.

I think it's possibly because they don't know exactly what kind of mount you are going to use (maybe?) so they figure the mount will have the needed items.

It gets better. All the kits I am seeing browsing online for Samsung TVs are for M8 45mm screws, which are way too long. Manual says 20-22mm M8 screws needed, but I have seen enough comments online that 25mm needed to account for the bracket metal taking up space. Looks like Best Buy, Target, and such only stock the 45mm ones.

Amazon has various 25mm M8 screws (various head shapes, at least Allen, Torx, and Phillips options) with Prime shipping for under $10. If you hate them, Mcmaster-Carr has a zillion options, but shipping will take longer.

Thanks, I am headed to Lowe's shortly as they seem to have a 4-pack of the M8 25mm machine screws for about $2.50.

Addendum: You definitely need the 25 mm ones. I bought 25mm and 20mm just in case, but the depth of the hole in the tv's chassis is about 22mm, so [despite what Samsung says] in the end you need the longer 25 mm machine screw (especially if you add a washer).
