Thanks SSF. If he was any younger, I'm sure he would've been long gone. I was considering him and Mike DeVito last round, so I was happy to see Redding was still on the board here.

He isn't sexy, but he can be a solid backup DE who is good against the run while also mixing in a couple sacks (4.5 last year). He's also pretty durable, playing in 13-16 games a season every year he's been in the league outside of his rookie year.

Don't project your opinion onto me, Elcab.

Merlin has less than an hour. mascho is up after that and will get a PM when it's time.

Still a lot of others who need to complete their rosters.

You know who you are.

The Sentinels select Jeremy Gallon, WR

He'll have the GOAT throwing to him in training camp. If he can't make a roster with that going for him, screw 'em.

Can someone PM sexyfan121 for me?

Audie Cole, LB (Vikings)

We think he's dreamy. And we have a bit of a LB shortage.

FAKE EDIT: Going into training camp, the Bengals plan not to punt in 2014.

REAL EDIT: Dgilpin has mail.

I like the earlier proposal that everyone that didn't fill out their roster has to use their first pick on whatever open slot they have in the supplemental draft.

I think both OFT and SF121 have two openings.

KFP & SMU PM'd.

I've got some holes on the spreadsheet but I can field a team, including a punter with a career 34.0 net average.

It would be nice if someone could confirm pick and pm ragnarok. Sorry on mobile. Will post write-up tomorrow but basically he's one of the best blocking tes in the league. We like to run. He's a good fit. He is also huge and will get 5 to 10 looks a year near the goal line.

Ha! I'm rooting for Gallon for the Pats. Glad he's getting picked on our draft as well.

Shit, I totally spaced on the round.  Fuck.  I thought there was one more pick left.  I'd be all about dropping my last pick, because I don't have a punter.  Which is an issue.

I wouldn't worry about it. We'll have the supplemental draft before the season, so you can take one then.

For their final pick, the Colts select G/T Jack Mehwort, of the real Indianapolis Colts. Adds some much needed versatility and depth to our O-line. Apparently, he's currently in line to start for the real Colts.
Already taken - it's spelled "Mewhort," which is probably why you're not catching it.

Swamped trying to get work done to create a long weekend. Surprisingly pissed that Osweiler was picked. :(

Should be on the office this afternoon to get caught up.

Sorry for the delay on my picks here. I've been traveling a ton and just haven't found the time. I've got 2 picks to make right now, I believe...

The Rams select:
  • OLB Anthony Hitchens
  • RB Alfred Blue

With a rookie manning the center spot we wanted some more depth in case he struggles in his first year.

The San Francisco 49ers select: Tim Lelito, C/G

He was an undrafted free agent signed last year. In Week 3 he got his first start with the Saints when he took over at Guard after Jahri Evans went down... and was awful. He rode the bench for most of the season but got another start in Week 12 and showed much improvement. He was even given the game ball by Sean Payton after their Thursday night win.

Now in 2014 the Saints let Le Peuto go and signed Jonathan Goodwin. As of OTAs, Lelito was the Saints projected starting center. They must see something in this kid, so we'll add him as a possibly starter/depth signing.

Broncos are gonna take a flier on Raiders seventh-round pick T.J. Carrie, CB

Could make an impact as a defensive back or kick returner, with good speed and decent size for a CB.  If he sticks around, he could eventually be a good slot corner.  I definitely needed some DB depth, so any production he can give me will be fine as my last pick in the draft.

PMing bsj.

Dude he's married and has a young kid. His dick is de facto severed anyway. Unless he has a mistress on the side (or multiple) like many team owners...

Last pick will be a guy who just went under the knife.

Tre Boston, S

Depth pick. Good football IQ. If he comes back healthy should have a role.

A dreamy 6th rounder from California who wore number 10 in college, drafted to back up an established veteran, I think you all know how this story ends

Nice pick. Seastrunk was a binky of mine throughout the draft and thought Pats could pick him up. If I didn't have a full RB roster I'd have picked him up a long ago. Seastrunk could break a few long runs/highlight reel plays for the RL Redskins -- definitely a sleeper.

Mike Evans,  WR TA&M

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24606140/buccaneers-wr-mike-evans-im-too-heavy-right-now

"Physically, I'm not in tip-top shape. I'm getting back into my game shape," Evans said per the Tampa Bay Times. "As far as injury-wise, I feel good. I've been running, and I feel 100 percent."

Part of Evans issue is he's not in the right spot with his weight and the rook said he's "too heavy right now."

"I've got to lose more weight. I'm too heavy right now," Evans said. "But the workouts I've been doing, I'll be fine. I'll be ready."

No clue whether he means "fat" heavy or "muscle" heavy, but since it's the offseason, it's probably not the latter.

Tweaked a hammy in OTAs. Tweaked a lot of "hammies" during offseason. Still a good chance he has better production than Watkins though.

OK, I PM'd Myt1. To boldify this, OFT's LA/Oakland/Barstow/Fresno/SLO Raiders are taking John Brown, WR, Pittsburg State / Cardinals.

In tribute to Al, here's a picture of him running the 40:

I didn't post my reaction to this but this is a super under-the-radar pick. Sure it's all pads but I do think WRs having a good offseason matters. Brown has been the buzz of the Cards camp: http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/nfl/cardinals/2014/05/15/cardinals-rookie-wr-john-brown-exceeding-expectations/9154103/

Only concern may be injuries (http://nflspinzone.com/2014/05/24/arizona-cardinals-john-brown-hamstring-injury/) that forced him to miss the rookie minicamp.

Like I mentioned before, I don't see how AFCN won't be the best division in the league for 2 years straight

I say we give everyone until the 15th of the month to get their picks in. After that, we start filling in their open roster spots with the shittiest players we can find.

I agree re: the AFCN, but to be clear, this was OFT's pick (I believe with an assist from CL).

I've taken way too long with this pick so I'll take a shitty backup QB that might actually get to play since he's behind a starter that's always injured and a veteran backup that's old.

Garrett Gilbert, QB

He has a prototypical QB build. His father played in the NFL. He might be good.  He won't play on my team but its good to have a backup.

Here he is getting mauled by Alabama after coming in to replace Colt McCoy as a true Freshman.

I just sent PM's to the remaining owners letting them know they have until the 15th to get their picks in.

If they don't make the picks, we either give them bums they will be embarrassed to roster or we can just have them go the season short a player or two.

I say we just hand them any 2014 drafted rookies that have been undrafted. Start with the highest NFL drafted rookie left and go down from there, only skipping higher picked players if they have a hole that must be filled (i.e. P, G, etc.).

Fair and easy.
